Any good fiction books that you would recommend reading that hits on the themes of personal development, spirituality, etc..?
I’ve read enough non-fiction and at the end they all start sounding the same.

Try "Shantaram" by Gregory David Roberts. Adventures of an Australian dude, through India, including it's underworld.

Martin W Ball, the Solandarian Game. it's very sci-fi but has a lot to discuss about consciousness.

it's the same the same author who Leo interviewed a while back

"It is from my open heart that I will mirror you, and reflect back to you all that you are:

As a being of love, of energy,

of passion, and truth."

I’m reading the second book in The Stormlight Archive right now, and I must say I’m really impressed by Brandon Sanderson’s understanding of people and Spiral Dynamics so far. I haven’t read the Mistborn series, but I know that those books have also been mentioned positively on this forum before.

Has anyone read Dostoevsky? Is it useful?

I read 5 of hist most famous books. They are very interesting as a fiction books, very recommend. But overall I think fiction books except maybe David Goggins` books have no value for self-dev. With this you can read wolf semi-porn love books that some girls read.

Btw Dostoevsky develops in your kindness and compassion to people quite a lot. This is for sure. Also love to God or Christ but not in stage blue sense, but more in green or turquoise sense.

Celestine Prophecy and Ringing Cedars of Russia Books were some of the best spiritual adventure books I've read. A lot of Truth in them too. I haven't read many fiction books tho, probably only read 100 - 150 books total in my life.

Same :) I attempted to read the the 10th insight but from what i remember it left me unsatisfied and i dropped it half way.

I think its one of those things where the original is the very unique, and everything after that only becomes more diluted, repetitive and less rich and predictable. I also read the Alchemist after the Celestine Prophecy which i felt was nowhere near as rich of an adventure and more spiritually hyped. Nice story, but nothing profound as people made it seem.

The Ringing Cedars Books were the only books that kept me engaged and just as rich as the previous ones. i read all 10 in 6 - 8 weeks time. The only one that i didn't enjoy as much was the 2nd book but the rest reminded me of a way of living and life we have long forgotten my imagination was full of color and beauty and reminded me of childhood.

Damn. It's a shame. I'll check it out eventually and see for myself.

Frankenstein by Mary Shelley is poetic and beautifully melancholic.

“Jorge Luis Borges - Fictions” has some outright mystical/non-dual adjacent stories like the Library of Babel, Circular Ruins and Aleph

“Italo Calvino- Invisible Cities” is a metafictional work about how everyone views one city through many different perspectives, and the prose is delicious and great for becoming still and mindful if you dont rush it.
