Wouldn't that just be 1984 with AI? According to the book series "Conversations with God" war comes from the beliefs in separation, scarcity, superiority, competition and justiied violence. Wars should end when humanity stops subscribing to those beliefs.

It could be an adrenaline addiction. When having sex a lot of adrenaline is released which gives you the high and adrenaline is very addictive. By realizing that you don't need pleasure to be complete/happy maybe? After every peak there is a valley, metaphorically speaking.

In my opinion God isn't responsible for our suffering and hardship, most of it comes from other people. He is not a dictator that determines every aspect of our lives, or orders people what to do.
