And achieve all the things Leo is talking about?

I don't need white lies, brutally honest answers only.

Also, I am looking for opinions of people who know what they are talking about.

No, they called them Householders in India, and they have a whole system of Spirituality set up for ppl that have families and work at jobs/careers, this has been around for centuries if not thousands of years.. Basically in India back in the old days, you had to decide in what direction you wanted to go in at 16 or 18, family life or spiritual life, if you choose family life, you got married, had kids, worked until you were in your 50's or so, then you separated from your family (most of the kids were out of the house by then) and went to an ashram and went in the spiritual direction then at older ages...Its a good system if you ask me..

Having a family puts us deeper into survival mode. So it might take you away from it. Spiritual paths involve so much hard work and commitment that everything becomes a distraction to such work.

"Not possible" is too strong.

But yes, it will likely make it harder. You are going to be spending more time doing survival, since you will have more responsibilities.

Your view reframed:

Developing your consciousness by rising kids. Opening your mind through the high levels of creativity a young human possesses. Being highly aware of your shortcomings because the future of your kids are a stake.

But it is what suits you.

Wife: Would you PLEASE, help me with these children!

SomethingFunny : Would you PLEASE stop nagging me! I'm trying to achieve all the things Leo talks about.

Not really, you can use some methods to make every moment a spiritual training or sadhana really.. I've written a few e books on this and how to do it..

Of course there are sitting and standing practices that cannot be done while working or doing life activities, these need dedication and commitment and personal space, but things can be done while living a normal life...

A union can deepen your spiritually in a more grounded and embodied way, especially if your partner is in alignment with a spiritual path, but going to get married or united with someone just to deepen it will not work. Again that's the paradox. Things must unfold naturally.

With my previous partner (both on a spiritual path) we were close to raising a family but not having our own space or land we could afford was not wise to bring children into this world. We also didn't wanna bring children up in the city, we wanted somewhere deeper in nature away from all the chaos and toxicity. Eventually we had to leave it for another time when the conditions are ideal.I feel most people are not really mature yet to raise children properly, most are still children themselves, still learning. Babies having babies is 90% of the world today, that's why even children today are a mess.

I guess I've been through a lot in life to know that its not the wisest thing to only repeat the same trauma and patterns our parents passed onto me.

I wanna give my children a life I never had, I want them to feel abundance and joy and the freedom and fullness of their spirits in union with the divine, not be born into a world where they see what we see today on the news and populated areas. I have seen some children raised this way, and they are profound in every way, almost never losing their inner-glow, because they are raised naturally and carefully in harmony with nature.

You can still be just as deep and as spiritual with a family though, as long as you have your own space to breathe from one another. Having adequate land (at least 1 hectare or more) and being surrounded by nature easily takes care of that. You can create your own meditation / prayer spaces.

I found the greatest connection with God while living with my mother and sister in a small house that had a large backyard and i ended up creating a  beautiful garden, so daily i was growing food and connecting with nature, losing myself entirely for service to the land, that gave me more than any meditation or psychedelic or guru i followed I ever did.

An old man once said to me, you are closer to God in a garden, than anywhere else on earth.

Everything clicked after that, God's original temple is Nature itself.

In Leo's maturity episode he describes starting a family and spirituality as two different paths of development. Having children will change your life and force you to mature as a person.

It makes logically sense that you won't have the same time to quietly contemplate, meditate, etc. if you have a family to take care off.
