Peeing standing up as a man. (Sitting down eliminates nearly all splashback, so why not? Probably conformity)

I’m with you on changing how we pee as men, but I won’t go as far as sitting down. Sitting is not an appropriate posture for elimination, and it’s not necessary, and it’s gross in public.

But I’m 100% for banning urinals.

Women don’t need them, and they pee. Men pee in toilets at home just fine. Less splashback. More privacy.

At home, in complete privacy, you pee in a toilet. You might even shut your door. But in public, suddenly we all pull our wieners out next to each other, often with minimal cover lmao.

Meanwhile, the splashback is obscene. Need to pee in public? You’re gonna be getting some urine on you. Congrats. Your urine. Other guys’ urine. Under the urinal is basically pond-level depth volume of collective urine

Ban urinals. Nobody’s tryna see or show all that, and then walk around covered in other men’s pee — unless they are, which would be its own problem. One that urinals enable. Toilets work just fine.

Honestly, we should just have holes in the ground — but I’ll let society have this one.

Everything’s made up, and the points don’t matter.

Sleeping in the same bed as your partner.

It is far easier to fool someone, than to convince them they have been fooled.

Sleeping in separate bed from your partner when you’re 80+ is a conformity.

Controversial take: Remembrance Day is pure conformity.

What exactly are we commemorating? That our European ancestors, enriched by global exploitation and fueled by boredom, started World War I? There was no legitimate moral justification for the conflict—only an arms race and an assassination. In reality, World War I was simply the catalyst for World War II, setting off a chain reaction of global conflict that persisted all the way until the Berlin Wall fell in 1989.

Not pronouncing your name in your native tongue around non-native speakers to gain social acceptance is conformist.

Whats fascinating is a lot of these examples can swing both ways.

Some examples can be extremely non conformist within a certain context.

I do it because when I pronounce it in whatever language I'm speaking it rolls off the tongue better. Never thought of doing this one thing specifically for social acceptance. Although maybe sometimes

I don't even see how that take should be controversial.
