This one is questionable but:

The way manufacturers design cars. They all have this round shape with sharp-lines following a wave path. But it is also because of aerodynamics, although they're full of unnecesary details that it is just conformity.

It is like the shape of plastic bottles, another example of conformity. It is not just a cylinder, but a cylinder with smooth dots, sexy curves, futuristic forms...

I'm surprised that no one has yet brought up this example yet, but here is my contribution to this thread.

Political ideologies, political philosophies, theories and schools of thought. Subscribing to a political ideology is peak conformity.

And most importantly, political parties. Being a member of a Political Party is also peak conformity. 

Also, watch this video below. There's no intellectual value to it, I just thought it was fun and cute.

I'm writing this as a registered member of the U.S. Democratic Party. I don't actually like the party or subscribe to some (not all) of its values and policy points, but I'm registered with them because I want to vote in their primary elections for progressive candidates such as Sanders, Mamdani, or Cortez. 

I'm considering leaving though.

I told my grandpa that him setting up an American Flag for July 4th was conformity. But he told me it wasn’t because he genuinely likes putting out his flag on July 4th and other national holidays. The same is with Christmas. What do you say to that?

I told my neighbor that lawn maintenance and green fertilizer is conformity. But he told me it isn’t because “I like the way my lawn looks.”

It is hard to tell what is genuine conformity or not because people could always have a nonconformist justification of their behavior. A person going to a football game will never admit it’s because of conformity but because they love watching Mahomes and Kelce. 

Art is conformity in the sense of copying nature and other artists. A true artist is nonconformity and adds their original idea and interpretation.
