Such a fascinating development as it seems one of the heroes of the left Noam Chomsky had a decently deep friendship with Epstein. The interesting part to me was that Noam didn't seem to be guilty or interested in any of the sex with minors stuff, it was mostly an intellectual friendship with the article writing about when one time they were hanging out and discussing the Oslo accords, Epstein picked up his phone and called up the Norwegian diplomat involved in the negotiations.

"“I met Jeffrey Epstein half a dozen years ago,” read the letter of support from Chomsky that was reviewed by the Guardian after its Republican House oversight committee release. “We have been in regular contact since, with many long and often in-depth discussions about a very wide range of topics, including our own specialties and professional work, but a host of others where we have shared interests. It has been a most valuable experience for me."

It reminds me of the christian point that all human beings are corrupt and only Jesus could've been pure. We all have our temptations towards the dark side and Chomsky was communicating and praising Epstein for over 10 years since he has publicly charged with soliciting sex from a minor.

People are saying Chomsky is exposed because this was after Epsteins initial conviction, but Chomsky is actually being consistent on this. He was always in favor of a very liberal justice system and didn’t believe in long prison sentences or criminals being treated any differently when they get out. He also said he considers many people who worked at the same university of being worse criminals than Epstein because of their involvement in US wars.

Probably not all of Epstein's friends were pedophiles. Epstein seems like he networked with thousands of people in order to build an elite social circle. Doesn't mean all those people were pedos.

If Epstein worked for intel agencies, as seems the case, then it makes sense for him to have a large network of social connections for intel purposes.

I feel like that's an unfair characterization of the situation. If you read the article multiple people, Noam Chonsky included were well aware of the shady allegations and his arrest for underaged sollicitation and chose to ignore that in favour of the status they gained from being friends with him or in favor of the intellectual stimulation that being friends with an global elite provides.

I mean it's an interesting argument of moral relativism. Plenty of people think themselves moral characters but support wars where thousands of children are tortured and killed. I don't think it excuses being friends with a human trafficker though.

Chomsky responded to this, he said as far as he knew he served his time and was let out.

Someone made a site so you can view Epsteins emails like it’s your gmail account.

Its strange he was friendly with Chomsky while also friendly with so many Zionist hardliners and Israeli politicians. Did he just nod along to Chomsky’s criticisms to maintain the relationship? Did he have no beliefs at all, or was Chomsky slowly convincing him.

The last time he had a boner was in the previous century but that didn’t withholds him to be a hypocritical dick.
