At least you can turn off smartphones, so you arent literally 100% glued to it.

I dont feel the vibe, but I will be interested to hear of other peoples experience with it.

I don't feel the vibe too but this technology is too good to be true. Meta is ahead of everyone.

W@UnbornTao would you still buy it?

What about other people here? Do you feel like this is the next big thing?

@OBEler Would need to see more use cases, feature / apps.

This was just a little preview.

I would say 100% it's hella damn useful for the AI session alone.

I purposefully dont take my phone with me when I go out.

This is going to fuck with human perception and people wont like it I'd say. If you wore these for 3 days you will have problems when you take them off. If you wore VR headest for 3 days and took it off you would have existential crisis. The body is ready reality VR glasses or not.

Sometimes it's the journey itself that teaches/ A lot about the destination not aware of/No matter how far/
How you go/How long it may last/Venture life, burn your dread

I'm not really interested, but it looks cool.

It's nice to be more productive in this way. The main problem is where he says you won't lose your keys anymore because the camera is always on the you can simply ask the glasses. That's a problem, because the part of the brain that remembers where you left your keys will stop functioning.

As a result you'll probably lose your keys more often. After some time you won't be able to function without the glasses.

If you think Ai makes people not think for themselves, glasses are worse.

One of my partners lives with a visual impairment, and I can imagine how transformative something like this could be for her, especially since she currently lives on her own. That said, I’m cautious about how reliable the tech is right now; accuracy really matters when someone is depending on it for daily life.

Still, anything that helps her feel more independent and confident in her own space, I’ll always advocate for. It just has to be safe and dependable first.

What is the most lazy and dopaminergic way you could use this technology?

This glass has not 24 hours video ai analysis. It's just for a short period. Video Livestream for 2 hours is probably maximum and the battery will be empty. And even if you recharge every 2 hours the context window of this ai reaches pretty fast its maximum. So it remembers probably just for 30 minutes content of your environment.

They will use the camera data from your glasses to train 3d virtual spaces for robots. Morgan Stanley's YT channel has some videos explaining this.

I wouldn't buy them. I'm already completely glued to technology all day long and this won't help.

It's obviously technological limitation, but they are way too big. This concept benefits from being as imperceptible as possible from the outside. Less of an issue if they are googles though. I wonder if this technology has military application, like those visor from the first Halo game.

Nice job team.
