Ketamine is confusing me

13 posts in this topic

I ve read a lot of trip reports of people that did ketamine for spiritual work. And i ve also watched leo gura's video about ketamine, which seems quite complete about the substabce, its effects, and how is compatibe with inner work. That video is actually very convincing for me to try ketamine at least once.

But, the people that i know that has and uses, ketamine doesnt seem very healthy. And they dont use this substance in a healty way at all. Moreover because ketamine causes actual addiction.

I ll be very blunt in termis, but Chronic use of ketamine seems like trasforming people into beasts. And trust me, i ve been with A LOT people high on ketamine for long times, i know them.

Now my question is, how a substance that transforms people like that, can be useful in spiritual work?

Also chronical users that i know that also tried other psychedelics like lsd and dmt, said that yes, ketamine is highly psychedelic, and makes the mind travel on higher dimensions, but nothing like lsd and dmt, that feels so much more pure, and helps so much more with psychology, problems etc...

Yo

It depends on the type of ketamine, the isomer, but overall it's not psychedelic at all; if ketamine is psychedelic, then all drugs are psychedelic.
The hallucinations are pretty simple, like the impression of objects sliding endlessly, objects changing size/shape, etc.

For some people, it's unpleasant and feels like it induces depression, fo me it was one of the greatest feelings of physical relaxation I've ever experienced, it was like being by the fireplace at Christmas and feeling fluffy, but 10x.

For a few days, I had a slight craving, as if I knew I had some delicious pistachio ice cream in my cupboard and I was hungry, so yeah it's addictive, but it's ok.

What heals, can also kill.

Sick and one pill saves you but 10 murders you.

It's all about the right balance.

Those people you mention that are Ketamine chronic consumers are using the substance in an abusive, hedonist way. Hence they get bad trips or bad experiences, they end up addicted and destroying their health and life.

Technically speaking for this work we want Entheogens, which means Godly substances. What happens to be the case is that 99% of Entheogens are psychedelics. Then in the 1% you have Ketamine which is a sedative/downer and Salvia which is its own world, and a few other edge case substances.

So yes Ketamine can lead you to God but it has not the purity and multidimensionality of psychedelics. Nevertheless, it's important to try non-psychedelic Entheogens because it hits Consciousness from a different angle while potentially reaching equally as high.

God-Realize, this is First Business. Know that unless I live properly, this is not possible.

There is this body, I should know the requirements of my body. This is first duty.  We have obligations towards others, loved ones, family, society, etc. Without material wealth we cannot do these things, for that a professional duty.

There is Mind; mind is tricky. Its higher nature should be nurtured, then Mind becomes Wise, Virtuous and AWAKE. When all Duties are continuously fulfilled, then life becomes steady. In this steady life GOD is available; via 5-MeO-DMT, because The Sun shines through All: Living in Self-Love, Realizing I am Infinity & I am God

It affects people quite differently. Do not assume everyone has the same trips on it.

Yes, it is not healthy for you if used chronically. But using a few times is not a problem.

For me, ketamine is way inferior to DMT, 5-MeO, or mushrooms. But I know people who have profound experiences on K.

I did ketamine once when they operated on my broken arm in the hospital. I can't forget because I was watching myself getting the fucking procedure, the surgeon or doctor or whoever the fuck people trying to set my arm back into place

Don't know how tf that is possible, but I swear to fkn God, I was outside me body, from above the fucking hospital bead, looking down from above ONTO the situation on the ground.

Eh ketamine makes me feel dirty. And I get this weird rebound effect where I'm super chill during the trip and then super anxious when I get off it. Same as dxm, also a dissociative .

Pistachio ice cream in your cupboard? Do you live in an igloo?

Ketamin is as Leo described an own category.

It is just something else. The music appreciation is awesome too.

Be cautious and just take it a few time.

It can have healing capabilities for depression.

I know I'm a little late to the party but as someone who has done Ketamine, more specifically (esketamine) usually around 84 mg nasally, around 50 times now I'd like to chime in.

Personally I have had quite a few awakenings on Ketamine. I actually wasn't so much trying to it's just been an added benefit. I started Ketamine as an alternative medical treatment for treatment resistant depression, which it has done wonders for and after many months started having awakenings on it.

I've had a lot of no self awakenings and what I would describe as pure nothingness. Very similar to a Buddhist description of awakening. My most recent treatment though I finally had a full on God realization awakening, infinity, whatever you want to call it you know what I mean.

What I like about ketamine is it is gentle and easy compared to traditional psychedelics. You easily slip into a deeply meditative state and lose touch with your self and body. Effortlessly because you pretty much can't do anything other than just sit there and relax. There aren't distracting visuals or thoughts usually like with traditional psychedelics, at least for most people.

You also seem to have control unless you take a really high dose. I sometimes was able to break out of awakenings in the past when I felt I wasn't ready in that moment. Only this last one did it not go away when I freaked out a bit. I'm glad it didn't because once I got through what I'd call the "come up anxiety" it was amazing.

It offers a unique and interesting experience that is worth at least trying if you ever get the chance and are in the right head space for it. It's also probably easier for most people to source compared to something like 5meo Dmt. Just make sure to test for impurities like with all substances.

I think if you're a person who has trouble letting go or freaks out on psychedelics Ketamine might just be a good starting point and way to ease yourself into awakenings like I did. Don't write it off until you've tried it a few times and if you do I recommend getting an eye mask and listening to meditation music during the trip. Also have your feet touching the ground while you sit in a chair being grounded helps in my experience.
