Israel launches attack on Iran

All the surrounding countries will be very happy if Iran fails to develop atomic weapons. Turkey will show that they are very angry with Israel and then uncork the raki to toast them

My favourite is khoobideh (kebab) with mirza gasshemi (roasted eggplant). Shit slaps.

On another note - Tel Aviv just hit:

A friend was asking me why Iran isn’t retaliating all day as it was getting hit quite bad, including VIP’s being decapitated to an embarrassing degree. Mainly due to visibility and partly being scrambled by Israel’s non stop attacks - as they have said it will be a 2 week long operation but it’s more of a full war now it seems.

Iran seem to have been caught off guard as they were expecting nothing could possibly happen before talks on Sunday. Perhaps US-Israel played a double game to distract them with plausible deniability on the US’s part.

They have it on the menu i‘ll try it next time i think. I haven’t had much Iranian food since there isn’t really much of a Iranian community here i think.

It is Saffron Chicken, a kind of tomato sauce and yogurt.

I don’t envy this extremely tricky situation Iran is in. Israel is never going to stop until this regime is gone and a friendly one is installed. Diplomacy is dead, and that is solely because Israel will not allow it. I think the only way Iran can protect itself is by having a nuclear arsenal. Iraq, Libya, Syria, Lebanon (Hezbollah) all fell one by one and now pose very limited threat to Israel. That’s of course not even counting the puppet government of Egypt and Jordan who are already friendly.

Iran is the final boss, the last man standing. We are seriously on the precipice  of an end of a historical era in the Middle East, and another one beginning that will totally and utterly be dominated by the Israeli Jews. How many more hits can Iran take before responding in a very real way? Sooner or later, I think they will be left with no choice, and their hand will be forced. Either fight for your survival, or be toppled, and Israel will finally see through their great expansion project.

Well but Iran is also allied with Russia and China. I mean i would like to see the Ayatollah’s gone and Iranian people have more freedoms. But i guess it can’t be Israel who does it.

Yeah the Iranians want freedom so much that they want a topple of their own government so the US can come in and steal all their resources. Brilliant bro. Remind me again how the Iranians don't have enough freedoms?

I‘ve heard it from Iranians themselves. They have torture prisons where dissidents vanish. And there were protests recently because women were brutalised in custody. Unfortunately the protests were brutally stopped. There is morality  police here is gpt.

Iran’s so‑called morality police (Gasht‑e Ershad or Guidance Patrol) are a state enforcement unit tasked with ensuring women—and some men—adhere to strict Islamic dress codes, especially mandatory hijab and modest behavior in public  .

🧑‍✈️ Who are they?

Origins & mandate
Created in 2005, succeeding earlier revolutionary committees, the Guidance Patrol reports directly to Iran’s Supreme Leader and enforces laws against “undermining public decency,” including hijab, dress codes, and gender mixing .

Tactics & citations
They patrol streets in marked vehicles and vans, stop individuals, issue fines or arrests, and even operate “re-education centres.” In 2014 alone, 220,000 women were detained, 19,000 warned, and 9,000 arrested for dress code violations  .

⚠️ Recent Revival

Return after protests
After looming nationwide backlash following Mahsa Amini’s death in 2022, the force briefly withdrew. But by mid‑2023, they reappeared in major cities to resume patrols—though officials promised a “softer” approach, many remained skeptical  .

Technological surveillance intensifies
According to a UN report, authorities now deploy drones, facial‑recognition cameras, and the “Nazer” app—enabling citizens to report unveiled women in public facilities like metros and taxis  .

🚨 Ongoing Protests & Backlash

Pro‑hijab counter‑protests
In March 2025, weeks of sit‑ins by pro‑hijab supporters outside Iran’s parliament led to hundreds of police dispersing the gatherings  .

Violent crackdowns
Amnesty and rights groups have raised alarm over beatings, detentions, torture, and shootings linked to morality enforcement. Two high‑profile cases illustrate this:

Mahsa Amini (2022) died after alleged abuse in custody.

Armita Geravand fell into a coma—later declared brain‑dead—following a hijab enforcement incident on a metro  .

Public resistance & reform talk
Many Iranians, especially younger women, continue defying the hijab—burning and removing scarves publicly. Meanwhile, urban fashion trends are evolving, and moderate politicians have discussed scaling back the morality police’s influence  .

🔍 Summary

The Guidance Patrol is Iran’s official morality police since 2005.

They enforce hijab and modest regulations with patrols, arrests, fines, and now digital surveillance.

Despite crackdowns, resistance persists—both through street protests and cultural pushback.

Technology (drones, facial recognition, apps) is amplifying enforcement.

Official statements promise reforms, but real change remains slow and contested.

Israel is definitely punching down here. Israel wouldn't be still standing if it couldn't win the fights it starts. Arabs are generally not very effective at waging war. Their armies exist first and foremost to maintain the regime in power as opposed to a direct conflict.

It's just a gut feeling, but even without the US I think Israel would manage. I think their culture instill the perception of being surrounded by enemies as well as intellectualism.

Those Ayatollah jerks have the same ideas as Trump in a way. They want to go back in time. Conserve time. Controlfreaks. But progress will eat them up like a Baklava. Devoured by the universe. It happens to the best of us.

This is still live for now, covering it as it happens. I am not sure on the status of the radiation leaks in Iran if they were confirmed or not.

Trigger warning though. As always they are pro-Israel in this, pro-Ukraine etc

Their 1206 day war map, mostly covering this for now:

You have to zoom out if you want to understand the Middle East. Everyone in the Middle East knows this entire thing ends with a one state Palestinian majority Jewish minority. So any country that is normalizing with Israel now is only doing it based on this inevitable future outcome

Without the US the Middle East could have the best standard of living in the entire world. Perfect geography, plentiful resources, cohesive culture etc. And without Zionism the Jews could be part of that standard. Instead Jews live in constant fear, Americans slave away their tax dollars, and innocent Middle Eastern men, women, and children die. The Jews are definitely aligning with the dumber choice

Fixed it for you.

Fixed it for you.
