Attachment. You are attached to the contents of your mind because that's how you survive. You are not attached to the survival of others.

Questioning yourself forces you to surrender parts of your mind. It's like suicide bit by bit.

If you cut off a piece of your brain it hurts. Likewise if you cut off a piece of your mind/self.
