Ramana wouldn't have forgotten - or realized, or seen through - his nature depending on which mind state he happened to be in, had he developed dementia, suffered a stroke, or taken the drugs. This suggests the recognition isn't a neurochemical event or a state.

It's the exact opposite.

You will 100% lose your awakened mind state if you get dementia / stroke, no matter who you are.

Nothing about Ramana or any other spiritual teacher is so special that it would prevent that.

That is compatible with my analogy. Even a good fuel can have pollutants. And there are certainly dirty fuels and even stuff like mechanical damage to the engine.

Thats reasonable, out of curiosity Have you ever experienced brain fog? I feel like your more robust then average.

How is this post just me acting out my ego in the usual ways? Is this post just me venting and justifying my selfishness? Are the things you are posting in alignment with principles of higher consciousness and higher stages of ego development? Are you acting in a mature or immature way? Are you being selfish or selfless in your communication? Are you acting like a monkey or like a God-like being?

Yes, very bad brain fog and even loss of brain functions like memory and thinking.

How has your heavy metal chelation journey helped with this if at all? How long have you chelated for, and do you still do?

Ram Das had a stroke in '97 and lived for 20 more years and still did lots of talks.

Sadhguru experienced a life-threatening health emergency in March 2024 involving massive bleeding and swelling in his brain, which is medically classified as a type of stroke.

Still seems pretty enlightened to me.

Great post on brain fuel. Once you start experimenting with nootropics and psychedelics it becomes a very obvious truth.

This year I'm studying neurotransmitters deeper, I have the intuition they are a profound key for greater understanding. Truly neurotransmitters are gates in the mind of God, that when open, allow for consciousness to flow in new waves and states.

God-Realize, this is First Business. Know that unless I live properly, this is not possible.

There is this body, I should know the requirements of my body. This is first duty.  We have obligations towards others, loved ones, family, society, etc. Without material wealth we cannot do these things, for that a professional duty.

There is Mind; mind is tricky. Its higher nature should be nurtured, then Mind becomes Wise, Virtuous and AWAKE. When all Duties are continuously fulfilled, then life becomes steady. In this steady life GOD is available; via 5-MeO-DMT, because The Sun shines through All: Living in Self-Love, Realizing I am Infinity & I am God

Then what does it depend in? Why is Ramana, Ramana, and you, you?

If nothing bridges the gap then there's no gap but how come it's so fucking obvious there is the gap. How come you resolve such paradox?

Contemplate

Afterword: Only through the vertical axis of higher and lower states of Consciousness. The horizontal unconditional ever-present axis of consciousness never resolves this fundamental blind spot.

Of course the higher-state chasing of Consciousness has all the inherent blind spots you always very intelligently point out, to say one: forgetting you're always fucking it, always have been and always will be throughout all the possibility space of existence; the One Infinite Absolute Reality and Truth, right here-now breathing, awake and alive)

How would we study the cults?

Just line it up with the lessons from Actualized.org’s videos on cults?

I'm talking about a serious stroke that leaves you permanently impaired.

Obviously many strokes can be recovered from.

Oh Leo come on don't make me reactivate Instagram 😅😭

Are you also planning to post those as YouTube Shorts? I think that's gonna have bigger reach.

Or maybe on the blog as well.

The reason I deactivated account is exactly the one you're mentioning in the reel. I felt my brain boiling alive like a frog, and time limits wasn't enough.

@bazera I understand your frustration. I don't even like being on Instagram. But I have to test out new formats because long-form YouTube is not sustainable at this point. The game is very different from when I started in 2013.

I need to experiment to see how to structure my content for the future.

Hell yeah, I like the reels!

Social media has transformed into utter slop.

People claim it's phones, and that's some of it yes, but social media is the real turd in the room. I recall when smartphones first released. I was one of the first generation of users after Nokia was king. Smartphones became more of an issue for users when social media infested our minds.

Leo, I like the idea of the reels. We gotta have some light mixed into the madness.

What I suggest is you use any app (many out there) to quickly add Subtitles. It takes like 1min extra.

They say that like 30-60% (cant remember the number) consume speaking reels during a time they cant listen, so during these moments they can at least read.

Reading while listening also engages the mind more, in a positive way.
