Holy Fuck @Leo Gura this Contemplate: "How do I belittle and trivialize the love of others? And how does that make me incoherent?" Test got me

I could make a long list of how things other people love I trivialize.

One can speak about selflessness but the truth is that if I would have universe my way, it would lack a lot of things that are irrelevant for me.

Which is why God cannot allow the universe to be your way.

Your way minimizes Love.

L4D2 is another example of diversity done well. You don't really notice it unless you really got the woke detection glasses on. They are all fun characters in their own right.

I actually benefit from racism, being a white guy in Finland. I am in this situation of being forcefully hospitalized, and one of my friends here who is black has to sit two times longer in compulsory treatment than I have to, because the doctor is racist. The doctor literally makes me his golden boy since I am white, which is unfair as fuck.

@Leo Gura I heard sitting cross-legged during Kriya closes off the flow of Prana. What's your thought on this?

Is that chair hiding something? :$

(There’s also another blog entry about how something is always missing or something, but I forgot where that entry is)

^ Not the same blog post I was thinking about, but it ties in nicely!:

Well, yeah… but what you’re missing is that a plain old objective couch is also just your imagination.

Ahhh shoot… more powerful insights. Time for another break to contemplate.

Obviously not since the original techniques teach cross-legged seating.

@Leo Gura Isn't it easier to sit with your back straight when you are crossed legged?

It's as if when I sit in a chair without back support, my back slouches more and I get more sleepy.

No, it is harder.

Because you have such bad posture from improper sitting. Or you have a bad chair.

Time to correct that before it gets worse.

You should have no problem sitting upright on a flat surface.

@bazera @Leo Gura  the trick is to have your knees below your pelvis so that the pelvis can rotate 'back up'. this will help you sit straight, whether you are cross-legged or not.

But Leo, this chair seems way to small for your knees to get below your pelvis. maybe it is just the angle from which you photographed it?

I had a knee-injury so thank you for encouraging chair-meditation.

It's a chair! The knees are not going to be below.

You are talking about cross-legged things.

@Leo Gura  I am not. You can sit so high with a slight tilt of the sitting surface that your knees will be below your pelvis, feet on the ground. If your pelvis and knees are at the same level, your lower back always has to work to keep you straight. But if it works for you, that's good!

@Petals A proper chair has zero tilt. It is flat and so your legs are parallel to the ground.

I can't believe I have to explain how chairs work.

This will become my Old Uncle forum for awhile, where we debate and comment about quality of chairs and sofas.

That’s because you are the chair so people gonna ask you about yourself😜

@Leo Gura  yes ok, it might not be a chair in the very narrow sense but you can have a 'chair' that can be positioned in such a way that you can sit as I explained, slight tilt, feet on the ground (which makes it more comfortable for your back) - think e.g. Swopper (not sure if this is a thing in the US?) or saddle chair.

Doing  Kriya I've noticed . If my entire back presses against a chair it's hard to feel the kundalini (as jc Stevens states). However, if just the bottommost part of my back presses a chair and the rest of the back doesn't, I feel the kundalini even more than if my whole back wasn't touching.
