I really enjoy that the audiobook is narrated by Ralston himself. I do not mind the tonal/pace change at all. If it were narrated by anyone else I would not be so captured.

I guess you are speaking about Peter Ralstons speaking voice and not Leos? 

Well I dont really care about that his speaking isnt perfect, I just feel that it comes from a place of genuine understanding. Thats why it captures me. These professional speakers are just pretending, beautifully so perhaps but still pretending.

I'm trying to get you to see that's not all you and several others are doing. 

If someone stood up at a Mozart concert crying "I thirst for the day you compose again! I'm 5 years behind reaching your level of musicianship! The  godly gems and divine fragrance of your unique work!" - that's MORE than just gratitude and appreciation going on. 

No shame in having blind spots - we all have them. The key is to not ignore them when they're pointed out. 

Using exemplars for aspiration is one thing - praising them to the high heavens is something else. At a certain point, praise crosses over into worship.

Praise says "that was valuable, thanks and good job." Worship says "you are elevated and I am below." One is a transaction about content - the other seems to do with peacocking devotionals for various egoic reasons.

Just some thoughts. I could be wrong. Good day sir!

I have to agree with the "moon is cheese" argument. 

It is so obvious. I know this because I saw a mouse walk under the moonlight recently, and in THAT exact moment, I realized that they must come out due to the moon pushing out Cheese Radicals towards the Earth at night. 

I see no other explanations... and if I do see some, I KNOW they are wrong now!

I actually wanted to make a post asking what to prioritize and also how to realistically create time for it all.

@Leo Gura just want to thank you again for the masculinity vs. femininity posts. It is amazing to me that so few influencers talk about it and understand the thing. So many people misunderstand this topic. Most debates and podcast like discussions about it are shallow and disappointing.

What will you predict to happen in the coming 50 years if the collective wisdom will not integrate this aspect of reality? Because for me it seems like a Trump effect. People are so stubborn about it that we really have to fuck it up very badly in order to trigger enough suffering that will push us to change our minds about it.

I don't judge by the way, it took me years to understand this and I might have bought the post-modern slop if I did not have stumbled upon serious philosophers that point out these flaws.

@Leo Gura are you reading my mind? Just this Morning I wake up and thought with myself that I dont watch one video of yours for a long time, I am to busy with the daily life now,actually socializing a lot since I am now in a tropical paradise, so in my mind came the thought that would be better to the videos to be sliced in coherent parts of 30 minutes, but then I realized that the difference in your videos is exactly that it demands one to be focused for 3 hours. Thanks for making your work as you do.
