Leo do we really have to stay consistent with the kriya yoga everyday?
I do wanna do it everyday, but what if there's days I literally can't? Like I'm extremely sick

I'm scared that I'll lose a lot of benefits because of these insurmountable circumstances

When you are sick you can not do it.

You will still get benefits.

But if you are not sick you should do it every day. It is an issue of priorities. You have the wrong priorities in life.

@bazera I’ve had a little look into in the past. But again, it’s obvious to myself I just don’t know what I’m doing. I would need to be taught properly. Not just YouTube videos and that. Or reading about it. I’m not going to trick myself with these things anymore that I actually have any idea what I’m upto😂

You can just start practicing Pranayama for 10-20 minutes, and build onto that some other practices if you want after 6-12 months. You can find very practical instructions of Pranayama breathing here in the books: https://realyoga.info/

And here in articles: https://realyoga.info/posts/

You can also ask ChatGPT to give you super detailed no-bullshit instructions of how to do it, and then just do it for couple months straight as an experiment.

All the leftists on this forum: " But thats western imperialist propaganda", "The sanctions that the capitalists have imposed on Cuba are responsible for the poverty", "Socialism would work if the western corrupt imperialists wouldn't sanction to rubbles all socialist regimes". " the Western imperialism and collonialism that the west has done for the last millennium is responsible for the success of capitalism"

To all the leftists on this forum, please, stop parroting old soviet propaganda. All you have in your heads is the word "imperialism". Thats leftism and socialism in a nutshell, always scapegoating and blaming the "West" for all your dirt poor systems of governance.

The post about defense and by extension reactivity #342 is aligning with another question (re the context of Truth) -- Why are we so affected/effected by isms

Does Truth have anything to do with philosophy?  I'm talking about the way philosophy is ordinarily understood not a re-definition.

The mind/self needs some way to explain why it exists and how it should survive. Rather than doing the work to discover that through truth-seeking, the mind/self just adopts beliefs that are useful for its survival. Once that is done, the mind/self is in a constant adversarial relationship to Truth, because no ideology is true and dropping the ideology is too threatening to the self's survival.

Philosophy is the mind/self's grasping at making sense of itself, but constantly failing because the mind/self's true nature is God, which is incomprehensible to a finite mind/self.
