  1. I had one of the strangest experiences of my life recently and I’m genuinely trying to understand what happened... I had smoked weed the night before and was still slightly buzzed the next morning but not high. I’ve experimented with altered states and psychedelics quite a lot bfore, so intense experiences are not exactly 'new' to me. But this was completely different. I was at work when I suddenly started feeling extremely nauseous. I went to the bathroom and eventually threw up. Before vomiting I actually felt bad enough that I was considering either going home or even calling an ambulance... Then, almost immediately after throwing up, something changed. My first thought was basically: “Wait… I don’t feel that bad anymore.” Then: “Wait… I’m okay.” Then it suddenly expanded into: “Wait… there are no problems.” And from there the experience exploded. It felt as if I suddenly remembered something that I had forgotten my entire life. I began experiencing what felt like memories of being in the womb, and then somehow “rewinding” even further than that. It felt like I was remembering consciousness before my current life had begun. Then I heard a voice very clearly saying something along the lines of: “Congratulations. You reached enlightenment.” The weirdest part is that it did not feel like imagination. It felt like recognition. Like: “Ohhh… right. Of course. I remember now. .. HOLY SHIT I REMEMBER WTF!! OMFG THIS IS IT!!" I even yelled out loud to myself 'OF COURSE!!' (Luckily none of my coworkers heard me) Suddenly my entire identity felt constructed. My life, personality, fears, ambitions and problems looked like parts of a character I had agreed to play. I had this overwhelming realization that reality was some kind of simulation/game that consciousness voluntarily enters, and that we forget what we actually are once we are born. And then Leo appeared in the experience. I know this might sound cringe but for some reason I heard his voice. I experienced him as someone I had somehow spoken to before entering this life, and he said something like: “I told you you’d make it. Welcome. And there are levels to this.” Again, I’m NOT saying this literally happened. I’m describing what the experience felt like. At this point I was sitting on the bathroom floor talking out loud to this voice as though I was having an actual conversation. For a short period I was so convinced that I had discovered something objectively true that I even thought: “I can tell my coworkers about this now. They’ll understand.” ..... Thankfully I didn’t. Then it got even stranger. I saw existence almost like multiple layers or “respawns.” One life leading into another level of existence, then another, then another. I also experienced this image of multiple probability wheels stacked on top of each other. Each wheel had an almost impossibly tiny chance of landing on one particular point, and somehow all of them had aligned in my case. The feeling was something like: “Something extremely rare happened to my consciousness/brain at birth. Some kind of glitch or defect allowed me to eventually notice what normally remains hidden.” It felt simultaneously like the most insane bad luck imaginable and the greatest luck imaginable. Part of me became terrified because it felt like I had accidentally discovered that consciousness was trapped in layer after layer of existence. But stilll at the same time I felt that discovering this was precisely what could allow me to escape the loop. The emotional tone then shifted into complete bliss. All of my normal problems seemed almost laughably unreal. Fear disappeared. Everything felt perfect exactly as it was. What confuses me most is how real it felt. i have had psychedelic experiences before where I knew, at least somewhere in the background, that I was tripping. But This was different. It had the quality of remembering something, rather than inventing something. The certainty itself was probably the strongest part of the experience. Several hours later I was basically back to normal, but something about the experience still felt psychologically “stuck” with me. So wtf happened to me? It was the most sober I've ever felt. Like a light bulb turned to its absolute maximum degree. or maybe it was a drug-induced psychosis?
  2. By now I've watch enough of his film to know that I don't particoularly vibe with his style...BUT David Lyncy clearly knew what's up. He speaks our language and He does it by destroying it. The first half of the movie is a straight line, then, out of the blue, "reality" is fractured. You mind is lost but bones feel the Truth. What You thought was "real" is actually oniric, symbolic, and beyond. Everything gets re-contextualized. You awaken to what's actually happening by experiencing it. But mind You! His spirituality here is not one of bliss, but instead one of cosmic horror, of brutal unveiling. One could say that it is the encounter with the Lacan's Real. "No hay banda!"
  3. I saw someone change the definition of bliss into dog poo already.
  4. Truth isn't merely an intellectual matter, but a spiritual matter. Truth has to do with your soul, it will move you, make you cry in joy of bliss and ecstasy. That's the power of truth. Developing a truthful mind is the highest priority.
  5. Yea. For sure one should have thier "thing" that they exell at. But rasing consciousness is the best investment of them all. It will considerably change your life. Not necessarily for the better in the beginning. Becoming aware of the smell in the room is painful and it might take some years until you'll be able to escape the room. Ignorance is bliss. Many chimps live a happy life.
  6. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DeHlaDBIUBA/?stkn=M2Q4MWJwMjk4anJ5 This is what success looks like for the fool. For the wise success is mastery of mind. Mastery of mind is what leads to a successful life. Bliss and ecstasy are all the rewards you get as a byproduct of mastery of mind and proper living. What's paradoxical, is that even the fool's version of success, which is seen in the video, requires a certain degree of vision, and mastery of mind to accomplish. See it all goes back to mastery of mind. Master your mind and you'll get rewarded, not just with money, which is the fool's hypnotic spell. But with Truth which is clarity of vision, as well as inner ecstasy and bliss on a mundane basis. Mystical spiritual religious experiences of devotion to the love of God are all functions of mastery of mind.
  7. There is no unconscious thinking and emoting in the enlightened state, and thought is used consciously for communication or planning voluntarily, and after the task the thinking process effortlessly subsides. This is obviously a challenge in unenlightened minds. Intuition is at an optimal state in enlightenment. I remember a young westerner telling me how an enlightened sage told him to avoid air travel in 2001 and be in the ashram in Asia, before 9/11. The enlightened state is also associated with high bliss levels effortlessly that is usually felt in people nearby as well. The degree of sensitivity is proportional to how much this is felt, and this usually develops in the company of a sage. Also the enlightened state is associated with high levels of prana or chi or life force, and which usually permeates to those around the sage. ( Disease at physical and psychological levels is associated with lower levels of prana in eastern medical systems of Ayurveda, Reiki, Pranic healing and Acupuncture, and which can be removed by increasing prana levels or removing blocks. ) The female enlightened sage Rajini Menon reported observing her physical ailments disappearing upon enlightenment, as well as gaining high energy levels, possibly due to permanent ending of leakage of prana through compulsive thinking and emoting. This is also a reason why cases of spontaneous healings comes up in people around an enlightened sage, both at psychological and physiological levels. The sage can also infuse high levels of prana into a fruit or leaf or glass of water which when taken results in healing. I know of an enlightened sage in India in the early twentieth century who used to infuse prana into jackfruit leaves and giving them for healing purposes which was successful, and leading to greater fame for him in the region. A man suffering from a certain disease came to the sage seeking healing. He was disappointed to be given an ordinary jackfruit leaf by the sage who asked him to eat it. The man went home with the leaf, lost it, and ate an another jackfruit leaf he had plucked. When he visited the sage later, he complained about the lack of healing after taking the leaf. When the sage enquired whether the man had taken the leaf which the sage had given, the man replied in the negative. This time, the sage gave him an another leaf which he was made to eat over there at the presence of the sage himself. This resulted in the man's healing later on. Healing associated in certain pilgrimage points could also be due to the high presence of prana in the region.
  8. Bliss is sensed through (and you might even phrase it as "tied to" to be fair) that Soul, that inner fire of creativity, which makes "figuring out the etymological feeling place" very tough from the audiences point of view — IF to say "Hey guys, I want to be *in* on the *inside* of the piece / joke, since i can feel the bleu soul asunder too!... and all the minûte details of it too... right? right? I know cause i went to college of Books w the kind loving smart ppl" Its like, "... Uhhhhmmmm. Its not something you explain logically? Its more akin to the scenario of... you or i perform the musical piece, or prolific writing piece, And then everyone feels something parallel to the inner fire" (see below)
  9. Foxes and birds have lots of advantages, but they can't open it's eyes to the absolute, and humans can. Then who needs holes and nests when you have what has not limits as home? Who wants being an slave when you can be free, tasting the absolute freedom that is your true nature? Bliss is very simple: it's what happens when all boundaries disappear. Ananda as the advaita said, the absolute joy of being without limitations that is inherent to everything
  10. Bliss assumes this architecture of the relative vs. The Absolute. But is there a duality between finite bliss and Absolute Bliss? Again, this discussion is very philosophically (ideologically) loaded.
  11. Bliss is ego-transcendent and ego-reliant, and not even too!
  12. I'm beginning to sense there is a bliss to that peace
  13. Your right. Bliss is the transcendent part of the Love/Soul, Granted we cant get a good read on it, that all encompassing pleasure -thing, As its in motion and changing. I liken it to "memory" as well. We take for granted our experience, our ability to remember, recall and retrace those steps towards the Souldoor, changelings, but without bliss vve dont have that uptake, downtake, which depends on experiences. It depends on not having them staggered ~ Which i liken to an old man (98 years old, lets say) blocking your way, staggering you to death at every step. Iuno its confusing, cause bliss is both the normal definition of it, and also its the foundation that everything lays on... without bliss everyone would be thrown out into space like a comet hit the earth, like its the apocalypse, erasing the end, before its even begun. Without bliss, no one could exist, As bliss sets the standard for non-bliss, such that bliss can be described, for we only know what is Not-a-kind-of-bliss by our experience WITH what we think is bliss is... hence its an active defining process... creation from nothing, but we misunderstand the whole creation part. p.s. i mighta accidentally deleted something in there, as i dozed off nd was pressing things in my sleep, as i had busy day.
  14. Well yeah, what is always already here is beyond definition. I'm just curious about your use of the label called bliss.
  15. Well, if that's your definition, then that's your definition. For me, bliss is very much beyond definition... which is in fact the whole point of the OP. Even saying that "bliss is the absence of resistance" falls short, because when you truly don't resist, you don't even resist resistance. So trying to put it into words becomes very paradoxical very fast. 🤷‍♂️ There is no bliss without suffering, so... relatively speaking, yes.
  16. Are you truly in bliss when noticing deep suffering of people ? @Hyperion
  17. For me it relates more to moments of divine ecstasy. That which is always here, has more of an ordinariness to it, and yet also extraordinary in that it is the peace that surpasses all human understanding. Yet you seem to call it bliss, so I just find that interesting.
  18. I was simply responding to what you said here: "Bliss is always available. You can open yourself up to it at any time"
  19. How do you define"blissful"? That's a bit of an odd question to ask after my purposefully cryptic and elusive sermon, don't you think? Again, what exactly would constitute a "constant background of bliss", according to your human understanding?
  20. I experience that peace that surpasses all human understanding quite often these days. I wouldnt necessarily say it's always blissfull as such. Do you have like a constant background of bliss ?
  21. Foxes have holes and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head. - Matthew 8:20 - --- Bliss is not a feeling... it is the sum as well as the absence of all feelings. Bliss is not a state... it is the sum as well as the absence of all states Bliss is not even a "thing"... it is the sum as well as the absence of all things. You can be blissful and happy, blissful and sad, blissful and angry, blissful and worried, blissful and rich, blissful and poor, blissful and healthy, blissful and sick, blissful and active, blissful and lazy, blissful and noisy, blissful and silent, blissful and horny, blissful and celibate, blissful and religious, blissful and atheist, blissful and "spiritual", blissful and "not spiritual", blissful and "awake", blissful and "asleep", blissful and "blissful", blissful and "not blissful". Bliss is everything and nothing, it is everywhere and nowhere, it is always and never, it is knowable and unknowable. You cannot define it, and you cannot deny it. You cannot talk about it, and you cannot be quiet about it. You cannot grasp it, and you cannot avoid it. And if now you're feeling frustrated and pissed off because none of what I am saying seems to make any goddamn sense at all... that's also potential Bliss. That's why it is called "the peace that passes all understanding". --- Bliss is always available. You can open yourself up to it at any time... and if you don't, then that's perfectly fine too. It's your choice. And also it isn't.
  22. What if the magic for getting money was having a job? I guess printing money would do as well. 😁 Why aren't the limitations of this reality that aren't constructed by humanity not magical enough? How would you prove that your manifestation is what directly caused the result beyond assumptions / beliefs? The actual mechanics/limitations of current reality doesn't depend on believing that reality is material. Beliefs cannot directly change the limitations beyond belief-based limitations. Maybe you believe that some technique could change, and then when you do it the limitations change. But that's indirect, and still you have to prove to yourself that the change isn't a belief. The problem of belief is that without actually knowing whether something is true you assume it is, and then whatever happens to you, you will think that it's because you believed in it, especially that the belief is the direct cause. You get lost in a self-reinforcing loop. But what's magical about belief is that if you believe that reality is material, it will become material. For exploration and testing how powerful hypnosis is, I have listened to hypnosis files. They work like magic, given some time, because you completely concentrate your focus on an idea being real until it becomes solidified in your mind. Links get created in your mind between different things, so when you think about a certain thing, it can directly affect what/how you feel and act. It's terrifyingly powerful; you can be hypnotized to experience an intense bliss! People underestimate how suggestible their minds are.
  23. The goal is not to spare yourself the horror or save yourself from the suffering, nor is it to be redeemed so as to return to perfect nirvanic bliss. The goal is to make the suffering of existence productive. To use it to give substance to the fluff that is you in order to forge your soul and liberate your spirit - so while the Pater (pattern/demiurgos) is cruel and tyrannical, it is not evil. If its not evil then we owe it to ourselves to find out what the suffering is all about. Being fucked is not without its value because some truths only emerge when you got nowhere to run and nowhere to hide. You can swim or you can sink into an eternal fucked up hell where all the intellectual pourquoi's rapidly devolve into tortured lamentations of WHY, WHY, WHY GOD IS THIS HAPPENING TO ME WHY, WHY, WHY ,WHY, WHY. The horror is the reason why, the existential terror is the reason why. If there was no threat of hell I would have blown my fucking head off long ago. On the other hand however, if something far larger and more grand than little ol human me decided that this clusterfuck should exist then maybe its not just an accidental absurdity. Maybe its a gift given in good faith through good will by a living transcendence of pure freedom and infinitely exquisite and boundless joy that holds a promise too marvelous to be imagined and it might be worth sticking around to see it through.
  24. Yes that's a good point. I don't think the system is evil. I think our spirit guides and higher selves loves us. What I'm worried about is the possibility of them being delusional. That maybe they are so high on non-duality bliss that they think suffering is nothing. You know some spiritual masters, like advanced non-duality teachers sometimes say "nothing has ever happened"? That's because the absolute makes it feel that way, seeing the truth has that effect, even the ugly parts of the world feels valuable and the absolute is the same perfect being. But the people and animals that suffer don't see the world that way.
  25. I'm not, I'm actually on the path to be a perfect agent for the middle path, since that's the only way I know to minimize my suffering. But when I get to the other side and my spirit guides lose their control over me, I can join the light faction. I might try it in a few days, but if I want to meditate I could just do so on my own, I often feel bliss when meditating.
