I know what Ramana Maharshi said; it's quite basic, uncomplicated. The thing would be to talk to him and see how he responds, but that's impossible. What is undeniable is that he was a man detached from form. For him, form was irrelevant; he was focused on what's he call the absolute self, the unlimited being. But for me, this only means that he was innately detached from form, and that since this attitude is promoted and given status in India, he voluntarily emphasized this detachment by vocation. This doesn't imply that when, for example, he says that the enlightened reach the end of the cycle of reincarnation, it isn't simply a religious repetition. For me, a much more interesting mystic is Ramakrishna, for example. His message is personal and direct. Ramana's message seems heavily filtered through Advaita and Buddhism . Focused in the vacuity, silence, no form.

Karma obviously exists. You reap (EXACTLY!) what you sow. So if you cause suffering in another person, you will receive the exact amount of suffering in return at some point during your journey of incarnations (assuming reincarnation is true — if we’re being honest no one knows with 100% certainty what happens after death.. if we can enter a state of deep sleep, there’s nothing logically contradictory about that ‘state’ lasting ‘forever’). the suffering that is returned to you will be in another form (i.e if you cause physical suffering to someone from punching them in the head you may receive equivalent suffering of mental anguish of regret etc.) newtons law: every action has an equal and opposite reaction applies not only in the physical domain, but also in the moral domain.) since these domains aren’t actually seperate — non-duality and all that. So all this talk about how morality is illusory by Leo and some of his parrots on the forum, are completely missing the point that our actions can have severe repercussions for ourselves as well as others. the thing about producing good karma, is it literally is win-win since both parties benefit. The thing about producing negative karma is it’s lose-lose since both parties are worse off from whatever action set the chain in motion in the first place.

If time is eternal, then there is endless opportunity for anything to happen. If reality has the possibility of creating anything, and also the sense of consciousness and self has the ability to arise in form, then it seems all of us will go through absolutely everything no matter what we do in this life, sooner or later. Maybe there is some limits, like think of the most random thing: a triangle made of marshmallow that lives in a world without gravity and eats pumpkin seeds to survive. Maybe that’s not a possible form, except it being able to arise as image in our mind, because it doesn’t make sense logically how it would function, maybe form needs logic, so even the most paranormal activity we can encounter has a certain “logic” that somehow fits into this reality we live in. And with regards to self awareness, many forms might arise which never develop self awareness in no universe or timeline. Maybe a table is always unaware so it doesn’t suffer when it’s broken. But even considering possible limits, there’s still infinite opportunity for you to be tortured so many times in all of eternity. So it is more than enough 😂 I do think there may be some truth to this karma thing you talk about, so there might be connection between this reincarnation, the previous and the next. But that connection I don’t think is gonna last forever. Some time in eternity, you’ll still go through all the shit no matter what. Doesn’t mean morality doesn’t matter, if you have human psychology, you’re gonna suffer somehow inside yourself if you cause too much harm, so that’s the most direct “karma”.

When you ask people about reincarnation and how they know they have reincarnated, they will answer "I remember living at that place and that time". It's a thought about the past, of themselves seemingly living in the past. Therefore, the most epistemically parsimonious position is that reincarnation is simply when you can recall thoughts about what seems like yourself from a different life. Now, can you ask a sardine to recall and produce thoughts about any past lives? Perhaps not, but maybe you could ask a human about their past life as a sardine. You can be agnostic about the metaphysical implications of past life claims without denying that the people may have legitimate 1st person experiences of memories of what seems like past lives. You can say it's not "them" in a past life but simply "a" past life they recalled. But then there are extraordinary past life claims that trace lives chronologically back thousands of years, no mentioning of random time jumps or somehow multiple lives from the same time. It would then be a better explanation that there is a kind of a metaphysical structure there, like a subtle body, persisting through biological death. And this is already the case: your body is not the same body as 7 years ago. All the cells have been replaced, through controlled or circumstantial cell death, yet your experience persist, continuously through every cell death, from your first memories to today. When you're remembering your childhood as an adult, you're recalling memories from a different body. "But the overall structure is the same, it's the same creature, just gradually changing". Yes, there seems to be a kind of a "subtle" element that persists despite gradual biological change. And yes, it's just a funny example of how things persist despite biological change. Perhaps something persists despite complete biological structural annihilation as well.

It sounds good, but is it really like that? For example, Ramana explained how he realized he couldn't die, in an experience he had when he was very young, but did he explain why he knew about reincarnation? Anyway, a sardine He has no self-referential thought, and according to those who believe in reincarnation, it is an inferior state, which still has countless reincarnations left.

Reincarnation happens every moment you think a self-referential thought ("I/me/my" thoughts). Enlightenment eliminates self-referential thoughts. If the thoughts are eliminated, the string of thoughts preceding it are broken. What is reincarnation? A string of self-referential thoughts extending across lifetimes.

One should always be skeptical. Just because someone seems serene and without desires doesn't mean they're at peace with themselves or maybe they have a system that works at low intensity. It doesn't imply a deep understanding of the structure of reality. For example, how does he know there's a cycle of reincarnation that ends with enlightenment? It's an acquired idea.

It's important to remember that Ramana Maharshi was revered for his mystical "aura," not for what he said. Some people seek genuine mysticism, finding someone who conveys a sense of serenity, holiness ,and this implies that the person is enlightened, whatever that may mean, someone who knows the truth. Let's see, Ramana spoke of the cycle of reincarnation and said that his mother performed Mashamadi, then she ended the reincarnation well and a cow achieved enlightenment through transmission by him. My father passed away recently and I've been thinking of this question a lot. I haven't had any mystical or nondual experiences or even any out-of-body experiences, but as I understand from Leo and others, you reunite and merge with the Infinite at the moment of physical death. But that leaves some questions unanswered. Like, for example, what is reincarnation then? What reincarnates if your consciousness merges with the infinite? Isn't there something individual about us except the ego? Like a soul or something that keeps existing after physical death? How do we explain near-death experiences and out-of-body experiences? Maybe the soul, or energy body, or something else is still relative to some kind of dream, (maybe not this physical dimension but still) and it experiences other dimensions after exiting a human body. Revelations is a term we use to describe the current state of the planet. Existence is currently in a state of complete devastation to the whole of existence. The problem, however, is the lack of evidence or direct verification for any of it — including from those making the claims. Leo in particular asserts that this entire life is imagination, that reality is fundamentally imagined by consciousness. But this raises unresolved issues. If imagination is the foundational substance of reality, then imagination itself should be examinable, articulable, and experientially navigable in a precise way — its structure, limits, dimensions, qualities, and degrees of freedom. Yet there is surprisingly little direct exploration of imagination as such. No clear phenomenology of it. No detailed mapping of how imagination differs across states, depths, or levels of realization. No rigorous account of how one stabilizes or sustains this so-called “God-mode” awakening without chemical intervention. If imagination is truly infinite and sovereign, why does accessing it seem so unreliable, transient, or dependent on extreme states? Why does realization collapse back into ordinary limitation so easily? Why does the claim remain massive, while embodiment remains elusive? This leaves an uncomfortable fork: either the claim is overstated, poorly articulated, or incomplete — or the method of self-actualization being proposed is insufficient to realize what is being asserted. In either case, “it’s all imagination” remains more metaphysical assertion than lived, verifiable capacity. Surprisingly Leo has not made a video I don't think about imagination as of yet, to actually explain his claim around this phenomenology.

If you take Leo’s framing seriously, the key idea isn’t really reincarnation as a cycle you’re stuck in. It’s that formless consciousness never actually stops expressing itself. There’s no “pause screen” after death where you step back and make a menu choice. The part of you that chooses only exists after a self has already formed. Formlessness isn’t freedom in the way we imagine it. It’s more like pure potential without a reference point, and potential naturally moves into expression. Not because someone forces it, but because that’s what awareness does when it isn’t holding itself still. So the real question isn’t “Why can’t I choose something else?” It’s “Who is the ‘I’ that thinks it stands outside the process?” In the way Leo describes it, you don’t reincarnate because you’re trapped. You reincarnate because existence keeps unfolding, and you’re one of the ways it happens.

The most likely, if not almost certain, thing that happens when you die is reincarnation. But it's not you who is reincarnated; rather, a similar, related structural pattern emerges, building upon the previous one. There is no soul that changes incarnation, but rather a structure that emerges based on another. The point is that you are not you; you are the total unfathomable, not an individual nor an entity. So, when you die, another framework of possibilities simply begins.

Yes. Because, thoughts belongs the mind and body. And will die eventually, inevatibly. Come on my brother 😊 if you never learn what reincarnation is, will it be even considerable for you? What learned with mind, will die with mind.

Of course. Thoughts are arises and falls within You, but not You. İf you identify yourself with thoughts that's okay too. But, it will lead suffering and you will waste the lottery. This is first and last life. When so called mind dies with surrendering or physical death, what you have learned (multidimension, after life, reincarnation etc...) dies too. İf you ask how do I know, where was your life before this or reincarnation? Why there was not even nothing there? Because, so called mind wasn't born.

Warning: this is depressive you may not have the friends you'd like, the family you'd like, the health you'd like, the job you'd like, not being able to attract the people you are attracted to, not have the features you'd like, not living in a place you'd like, not having the experience you'd like, the money or respect you'd like. Add the suffering if you live in bad enviroment or/and bad people or have health problems, or mental illness. And then even if everything goes great maybe you are getting older and all the fun is gone, all the beauty is gone, all the hormones are gone, all the health and power is gone. Or there are young people that experienced everything fun and now there is no novelty, the same routine everyday. And all the desires we have that we never get them, and our souls cry that we don't have what we want. Even if you meditate and eliminate most desires, still you have no fun, you are just neutral I see people that have important things that I don't have and I want to cry. Why they have everything and I have nothing. Even them aren't nessecary happy but I suppose there is a tiny minority that is extremely happy and have everything. I don't want them to be sad, I just want to be happy like them. I am sad. I don't see any way out. My cope in life was philosophy, now that I don't find philosophy fun any more and don't want to think so much anymore, I no longer have anything to live for. I try to do art but I am very very bad at it so the fun isn't there. I don't know why should I keep living anymore. I really wish there is an afterlife cause I really want to go there(and pray it will be a good one, maybe with a lot of fun and happiness). I almost get happy thinking that there maybe some new life if things end. Maybe it's better this way. But I don't know even if reincarnation is real although I tend to believe it is, still I am not sure. I am just breathing, I am not living. Do you ever feel like life is not worth living?
