Does hell exist?

92 posts in this topic

If infinite reincarnation is really true, there should be an infinite number of hell realms. My question is - would you be able to choose which realm you exist in as God, or are you simply cycling through all of infinity ad nauseum? If God has to experience everything that exists and there are infinite realms, most of which being inconvenience to a human mind, it should have to go through actual hell, whatever that looks like. My thoughts are that you could choose an "infinite" number of non-hell dreams since you are the author of reality and you can do whatever you want. I guess this is a question of whether God reincarnates through every possible variation of infinity or if it's just what God wants for an infinite time span. Maybe hell would only exist if God truly wanted to experience it.

"does hell exist ?"

No.

"When you get very serious about truth you accept your life situation exactly as it is. So much so that you aren't childishly sitting around wishing it were otherwise. If you were confined to a wheelchair you would just accept it as how reality is. Just as you now just accept that you are not a bird who can fly."

We don't even know whether we, as selves, exist or not, or what our nature is.

Text-book definition of the word nonsense.

How do you know that ? You're not gonna travel down the route of "since reality is infinity it has infinity of hell Chambers where satan sticks his cock up your ***hole for eternity ",right?

If it does exist it's a purification and catharsis place or state.

Where your soul gets purified from worldliness.

Maybe being human is a hellish dimension of being, necessary to give birth to another dimension of existence .

It's here. And worse is possible if I keep messing up. Here is one of the easier realms I wager. God knows nothing of hell and here. How could love know about suffering and keep a straight face. I want to be here. I am captain of my own ship. It's bad but I'll take it. The chicks are pretty cool not to mention the drugs and rock and roll. I promise to do better next time round if I can just please land some half decent non psychotic parents.

Sometimes it's the journey itself that teaches/ A lot about the destination not aware of/No matter how far/

Look around and point to it with your finger . That's the metric of realness for me .

I don't care about any fluffy arguments in your so called mind .

@Hojo so how is this game played ? Tell me the rules cuz  It sounds fun . I can point to"myself " as the body .this human chimp sitting here typing this . In any case its mallow since you'd have to first define what's a "yourself ".

I'm not scared of hell anymore because even if hell does exist..then what can be done ? God/reality will and is going to do with me whatever it wants .

I have come to peace with all of reality .

@Someone here thats my point it dosent exist but you are aware of its existence somehow you are aware of something existing that can't be pointed too. Therefore hell can be real without being able to point at it.

@Hojo I did grant you that point but you ignored my second point  which is more important

.let's assume the worst tormental hell ever does indeed exist ..then what to do ? Lose sleep over this ?or kill myself ? Or end up in insane asylum?  It's pointless to worry about something which you have no control over .

do you worry about how your heart is beating right now ? Or how your digestive system is processing food right now? Or how your lungs are inhaling and exhaling now ?

@Someone here  I try not to worry I also won't deny its possible existence. If I were to deny its existence I would say why am I doing that if I don't know. The only reason I can think of would be out of fear.

@Hojo hojo listen cuz I won't repeat it again :

I have made peace with all of reality . Let whatever the fuck happens to happen . Zero fucks given .to achieve this you must attain something called spiritual liberation.

I'm not afraid  from the idea of falling forever.. An endless free fall.. Imagine falling down in an endless spiral with no bottom forever.. I don't fear this .

Or maybe you are afraid from the idea of being stuck inside a room with no doors.. Just four walls.. You stuck between four walls.. For eternity?  I don't care about that .

What about the idea of these four walls starting to get tighter and tighter untill they crush your body into pieces? I don't care about that .

But then you will die.. That might be a refuge.. How about the four walls getting so tight just enough to make you almost crushed.. But not fully yet.. Such that you can't move and will be stuck like that... Forever?  I don't care about that .

How about being conscious inside darkness forever?  Losing your sight?  Are you afraid of going blind?  I don't.

Im not denying hell because im afraid from the idea of hell..or Being stuck inside a lava chamber burning and suffering unimaginable amounts of pain forever..if that's God's will then so be it .

Humans are afraid of pain basically.. Right? All kinds of pain.. How about all kinds of pain possible all at once for endless time.. Are you afraid of that?

As a male..you sure have some castration anxiety no?

And women are afraid of breast cancer or afraid  of infertility right..

As a child you were afraid of losing your parents in a car accident no?

As a grown up..you are afraid to die alone or to spend your last years with the company of no one?

Are you afraid of regret? Of failure ?  Of realizing at your death bed that you did it all wrong?  That you fucked up big time? And that there is no going back?

What else are you afraid of?

The argument that OP seems to posit that reality is absolutely infinite and that you wil in fact will experience all of these things inevitably and there is no escape?.. How does that change your relationship with existence?

I'm asking YOU this question not ME because I just told you  the answer from my  point of view .

I love these juicy topics. Right up my alley

It’s things like this that would keep me up at night as a child. I would imagine being stuck in eternity and living through the most horrible reincarnations

I’m sorry man, but I do believe it’s pretty bad out here in infinity

I kinda believe that anything could exist. But on the other hand, could it really? Or does something have to have a certain “logic” behind it to exist. In the way our particular reality seems bound by rules and has certain mechanism and everything being connected.  Like it couldn’t be just the most random scenario.

Also, just because something is possible, does it mean that it actually exists somewhere? Maybe everything is possible, but does it mean everything exists?

Regarding your question. It’s not like god(reality) is this entity with choice. So I wouldn’t say it can choose what to be. It just is.

Why you think god has a will? It kinda sounds religious.

Also, speaking of eternity. I have wondered. Could an incarnation be forever? Like a forever hell realm. Or will infinity always change the form sooner or later? I don’t know. It’s a scary thought
