  1. A while ago I stumbled on a forum (not actualized.org) that was a mainly a collection of trip reports and discussion of psychedelics. Now I cannot find it or remember what it was called. Is anyone here involved with other spiritual/psychedelic forums and care to share?

  2. Hello guys. I come with a question/discussion,

What is friendship? Why do we make friends? What does it provide us?

Is it a reptilian tendency? Is it a societal coping strategy? An extension of your self?

What is the true reason for human connection?

Post opinions :D. Interested to hear what you guys think.

  3. Hi all. I was told that some buddhists believe that women are unable to achieve nirvana/enlightenment. Their only hope for liberation is to be reincarnated as a male.

So, what gives? Where did this belief come from? Anyone have any insight on this?

Here are some resources I found on the matter:

  4. @Marinus Simple duality :D

We all know the term. Happy/Sad, Up/Down, Yin/Yang. You can't have one without the other. The higher the High.... the lower the Low. This is the way of things and there's nothing we can do about it. Work on finding your center and work on feeling comfortable in the "eh, neutral"

It's a balance game :). Just try not to get hurt.

  5. We know while others merely think they know.

Yet at the same time, we don't know just as much as they do.

I understand how nobody is inherently better than anybody else, but I still can't shake the feeling that everyone is missing something.

How do we live with such paradoxes that create the very fabric of reality?

When I look to the illusion, I only find more of me and find the divine, and when I look through the divine, i only find i am free because I am nothing. Nothing.

This is similar to the Ram Dass lecture where he talks about "down looking up" versus "up looking down."

    Beautiful.
