Seems like you have a big heart for the violent folks on the street. I guess many people don't have that.

lol, I actually do, but that is besides the point. Rioting is the result of unstable living conditions.... it isn't what evil anarchists do who want to serve the left's agenda or whatever

lol 10 month ago Tim was not relevant. The Impeachment thing didn't work out right?

Anyway the thing now is totally different. There are violent folks on the street. You will not see Sam Seder, Kyle Kulinsky, David Packman or others from the left reporting on that.

The consequence is that Trump probably gets stronger

It is all about framing. you can fabricate a toxic world view by picking and choosing partial truths and excluding things that contextualize your atomized frame to serve your ideology. You can show instances of rioting... and say "OH MY GOD THIS IS WHAT THE LEFT WANTS.!!! BERNIE AND AOC WANT ANARCHY".

    1. Nobody in congress supports rioting

    2. Rioting is the byproduct of social dysfunction. Tim Pool never addresses this and just delegitimizes the entire movement as some "radical agenda".

    3. over 95% of protesters are peaceful and a vast majority of rioting ended in June. I am more worried about excess use of police force(which Tim conveniently glosses over)

  3. So, If I go to a coffee shop and I tell the Barista "one medium iced coffee, please", Was that out of free will?

Let's back it up. Did I have the free will to be born in an english speaking country? Did I have free will to be born in the time and place that I was and in a culture that encourages coffee consumption? Was it free will that I was born into a society that values productivity? Did I have free will to be born to parents who encouraged my coffee drinking habits?

Our experiences and life circumstances determine every decision and action we take whether we are conscious of it or not.

If Trump wins again, things are going to get real bad (domestic terrorism).

I don't think your country can handle much more to be honest. Feels like a breaking point is very close.

Either do everything to make someone other than him go into office or start saving your money and move out of what is rapidly starting to become a third-world country.

If Trump wins electorally but not the popular vote... I think those riots in June are going to look like a care bear festival compared to what would be coming.

  5. So,in Leo's democracy video, he mentioned that part of the problem with the internet is that now, there is less cultural cohesion and there is not a clear, relatively uniform narrative that pretty much every american follows like in the 80's or whatever.

While the internet is a good thing because it has potential to expose you to different perspectives and it speeds up the transmission of ideas and progression of public discourse, the down side is that most people are using the internet strictly to find sources of media that suit their survival agenda and locking themselves in those echo chambers. This makes it so easy to get radicalized and brainwashed by all kinds of ideologies. On top of that, the precedent that Trump set by dismissing anything the media reports that goes against his survival agenda as "fake news" is incredibly dangerous. Now, I'd say a majority of right wingers pretty much feel comfortable dismissing anything they hear that does not reinforce their world view as "marxist fake news" or whatever.

How the fuck can we dig ourselves out of this mess??

Good food, bad food, tasty food, nasty food, tasteless food, cooked food, raw food, hot food, cold food, fresh food, old food, junk food, healthy food, sour food, sweet food, dry food, juicy food : I'm tired of them all.

It feels like a burden to eat, I wish I could just survive on water. I've been feeling this since like 2 months now. At the same time, I do feel hungry two times a day and feel uncomfortable on an empty stomach.

    Wtf is happening ??

This is approximately all I have been eating since the last 3 years at least (I've been extremely picky since I was born, and also my parents don't know shit about nutrition) :

    Major :

    • Wheat
    • Pulses (mainly 2 types)
    • Rice
    • Potato
    • Clarified butter
    • 6-8 different regular spices

    Occasional :

    • Red kidney beans
    • Lady finger
    • Taro
    • Different types of fruits during different seasons (mango, muskmelon, etc in summer and carrot, guava, apple, etc. in winter)
    • Curd
    • Lemonade
    • Chickpea
    • Soyabean
    • Junk food snacks
    • Cottage cheese

And probably some more random things I can't remember.

Also, I'm 18 male, borderline underweight, do not exercise at all, have problems focussing, addicted to jacking off and physically feel weak, tired and fucked.

LOL, I know I have a lot to change......

oof, I would suggest cutting wheat, rice, butter out. Potatoes are good. more veggies, fruits, beans, lentils. It prob won't taste as good, but that'll improve your mental energy and you'll find it to be worth it. Also, start exercising. Just start with jump roping and pushups. you will see  a difference if you do just these 2 things... also, jacking off excessively is not ideal for energy either... lol

@louhad Maybe get more protein in? I am not looking to get super shredded, but some more muscle would be nice. I am mostly into cardio though anyway.

I'd prob stay with this diet and start amping up the muscle building workouts. I suggest body weight initially(pull ups, push ups, dips) and then weighted body weight when they are too easy. It is the best for joint health. Check in with your progress after a few months and if you are satisfied with your performance, gains, and mental clarity, I don't see why you would need to change your diet. If you feel like you aren't getting results you want though, I would then look into adding more protein.
