Ken Wilber is pretty underrated in academia. One of the best philosophers of all time.

@Davino Ken Wilber is a philosopher thinking about 'awake' topics, yes.

Leo needs to publish a book at least, it's a facet he is missing if he wants to consolidate his legacy and work

Books from Ken WIlber will continue to inspire people for decades in a way that videos just cannot.

Also a book seems more serious for the social eye, more than being a youtuber posting content on social media

A video course earns 10x-100x more than a book.

A book gives more status and positioning in the niche.

And most self-help authors nowadays just publish to build a brand, make noise in the marketplace with the intention of charging premium in the back-end (videocourses, retreats, 1-1, speaking gigs...)

For most the book is just the front end offer.

No need to think about it, the proof is in the pudding.

The "I" wants to know it's not. So, it seeks the end of itself. Hurray, there never was an "I".

Exactly.

And I have no interest in writing that type of book. Such books are not worth reading.

Such books are hardly even written by the so-called author. They are just marketing ploys.

Half of modern books are a grift.

Is financial gain your objective? I don't think you would write a book for the money. Books are not for that.

A book format gives value in a way that videos never will, you yourself has said this multiple times.

A book will give you credibility and put you in the awareness of another kind of public and minds.

Good books are respected in themselves and become their own reality. For example: "Gödel, Escher, Bach" a book of extreme philosophical, mathematical, artistical and musical depth won the Pulitzer price for a totally unkown writer. Writing a thought-provoking book, I believe, will give your teachings a dimension that is necessary for your legacy. If you were to take my advice, I would write a book as something to do before dying. Even if you just have it in your drawer and is published after your death.
