The human side of spiritual teachers

25 posts in this topic

So i got this stereotype in my brain that spiritual teachers should be selfless, humble and not taking anything from anyone etc.

Not saying these qualities are bad but i want to expand this stereotype a bit. Add some self-expression you might say. I cannot relate much to the spiritual being stereotype. So i want to see them as human as possible.

Input a picture of you have some to show!

Here are some examples of what i mean:

Most spiritually evolved beings are living modest spiritual lives outside the limelight.

This is something I can totally agree on with personal experience. I appreciate the effort for people like Sadhguru to teach the people. But to believe that he and other turquoise teachers are the epitome of human spirituality just because they are in the limelight is partly missleading. I have interacted with a person who is beyond Sadhgurus capability and knowledge.
