1.how much % of is just your utopia Leo ? theoretical considerations, kind of like communism, lovely in theory, but putted in pratice produced terrible results in real world - looks like all philospers fall into that trap
2. weren't hippies just all about love and it didn't work out? (my knowledge about that moment isn't that great tbh)
3. if everything is what it is and it cannot be different - because a is a and a can not b - why do you want to fix everything with self - love ?
4. if I need to love and accept everything what choice and freedom do I really have? how is that different from slavery and a prison
5. now I'm totally confused about what is the difference between love, self - love, acceptance/self-acceptance and self -esteem
shouldn't the teaching adds clarity instead of confusing things even more?
6. alos let's look at India, they are mecca of a lot of those teaching, and where they are? as far I know undeveloped and still kind of poor - why is that?

These kind of questions will not help you understand Love.

You need a direct mystical experience of it. Nothing can substitute for that. Until such time Love is just a myth from your POV.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

@OmniYoga

I connect to the experience of "love" as being another word for radical acceptance steeped in the wisdom of what is.  It isn't something locked within duality and represented by emotions or processes that are deemed desirable by the one seeking what people call "love".

The hippie communes should be celebrated for their contribution to the search for "what it means to collaborate and commune".  What ended up being some amazing experiments of attempting to negate swaths of reality in hopes of rising above life itself, becoming greater than life itself... oh man.. I am so grateful those experiment are done and available of integration in pursuit of the next... All must touched upon.. The torch passes on.  From link to link within the chain we role.

I gotta get back to working on something that will one day be looked upon as absurdity, something people are actively trying to replace... but.. they will be grateful it was me and those I am collaborating with who undertook the process.... lmao.. reality, you trickster... thanks..

that is actually self love - asking these questions for yourself and all of yourself is self-love but not only that also answering these questions for yourself is also self-love. if there is confusion there can’t be clarity - clarity and confusion are excluding each other but also include each other - only if there is confusion clarity can adapt to what you are looking for.

I also didn't have a direct mystical experience of infinite love yet, I'm working towards it BUT I am starting to really get it. The universe is just the way that it, you are the part of it and you can't control it. So for example if you have a cancer, it is just wise to accept it and experience it with universal love instead of getting angry and depressed about it. Notice that you DON'T control your daily actions. You grab a glass of water and just 2 seconds after that you have a thought of even getting thirsty and drinking some water. You are literally the universe doing it's own thing. Just surrender to whatever is your current experience and give up all control, because you really dont have it :D

Let the thoughts go. You might say, ‘how do I “let them go”’?  Let that thought go.

@Nahm I can let go of thoughts. But what If it (the act of letting go) doesn´t feel right?

Why it feels correct to believe and attach to thoughts?

It seems crazy to actually not put thoughs as a priority.

@Javfly33 Yeah. At least put em to good use. Like understanding how storm troopers always win Russian roulette. Or why is porn the most popular movie genre, when everyone already knows how it’s going to end. Or why is it that more people die every year from taking selfies, than anything you’re afraid of. Forum hasn’t even got to this stuff yet. Forge the way my man.

@remember I believe that is actually called "questioning things" not "self love "

if you think you are questioning “things” you might be right i would not call that self-love.

@Nahm give @Javfly33 a little help in understanding how often you are free of thoughts.. the ones that he should be "letting go" of.. I'm curious myself as to how often you would say you are "thoughtless"?

Peace, Love, Respect.  We all in this together..

Letting the thought go, one is free of it. This is done now, or not done now. “Often”, Nahm, should be, etc, all thoughts arising which can be let go. And there is just....

@Nahm

Poem just written entitled.. All In Good Fun..

I was here, until I was no longer

I lived but the dream fell into slumber

My stomach ached but that was an echo in my mind

I used to elucidate and pontificate

Until I found clever language that allowed me to obfuscate

I would detail pages of thought for some to read and quickly turn

To another dripping dialect and exclaim

let go & empty cup

After all what is the good

In being clever if you can't

control the game

Let go... Let go.. Let go...

The best way to see Love is to understand fear. Let go of what you fear the most, and you will see Love.

What are your worst fears? That's the sacrifice you need to make for God for Its Love to unfold before you.
