Do they just stay at the monistary?

& do monks use self inquiry?

Theres a good chance they will probably teach the next generation on the monistary, but you never know with this stuff.  The world will continue to spin, life will continue to evolve and the inifinite universes will continue to Be.  Said monk may serve a greater purpose at that point or they may just relax into life and live and die like anyone else.

Depends on the awakend human being. Myself i dropped everything, and anything i do i do it with Heart. Monastic life is just that, a formal life somewhere.

enlightenment in the relative world just acts as a nudge in the right direction. life may or may not continue as it did before, but when the resistance of ego goes away due to the shift in perspective, "people" suddenly begin moving as "one with the Tao" and behave in ways more conducive to growth, love ,etc.

it should be stated that enlightenment is NOT personal development, but that becoming enlightened makes SIGNIFICANT personal development possible

Of course if they left they would most likely die soon and couldn't teach for a longer time.

Sure but they use different methods depending on their tradition.

Please do not pay attention to my empty words if you are following Leo's teaching !!
Sometimes my empty words may appear too negative, too rational, too irrational, egoistical or even like trolling because my path is a non-path and is nothing but deviation and incompatible with all teachings known.

That's what the noob does.

The real one brags about it whenever a mild glimpses happens.

If you really want to get serious, brag about it fully knowing you're lying, that's hiow you get attention and maintain a juicy sense of self !

Don't be stupid, LIE !!!

Who cares about the truth if you can abuse people and get money if you lies are good enough !

Omg, hahaha?

And, If you start a thread by saying, "I am enlightened, ....."

There's usually a problem (like ur not) or your trying to sell something (books, teaching courses, etc).

There's usually a link to their website in the signature area of their posts.

But then again, why not use all available forms of social media to help people? What if you do “have it” and the choiceless pull leads you to every single forum on the web?

ps I smell a bit of judgement in here...
