No matter what I say, people are very angry and irritated

Careful.  There may be a chance that you need to reevaluate how you interact with individuals around you.  You may be playing a larger part in the outcome of these interactions than you think.

It’s a self-fulfilling prophesy in effect too.  When you walk into a situation thinking that something is gonna happen a certain way, you usually create that outcome.  And people can pick up neurotic energy off you too.  That’s why it’s best to approach other people in a very centered I don’t give a shit kind of way.  And then everybody is attracted to you because you're internally grounded.

True. I'm very neurotic lol.

We are in a deep bondage with the family and conflict can arise. So if you attract very much the attention on the street simply means that you are focussed too much in the head.

I'm pretty focused yeah. What should I do?

Btw when I meet new people through friends, they often tell me that they saw me on street before and I seemed very special and cool and that they always wanted to know me better when they first saw me and they feel very glad they had the chance to do so. So maybe the negativity is only in my head? There might not even be a problem? I always sorta assumed that I am pure trash and that if someone looks at me they probably do with pure hatred in their heart. Might not be true.

@Aquarius maybe the reason why you feel this way is because you're completely unaware of what karma is?

study it. If somebody acts angry at you, its because you made them angry. You are in no way obliged to make someone angry, its only because YOU did something to make them angry.

Ramana Maharshi didn't make his father angry when talking about spirituality, Rumi didn't either, so didn't many others.

You can say things in a way that makes people angry, and say things in a way which doesn't

There's nothing wrong with making people angry, but don't blame that result on the form of the universe, they are angry because YOU made them angry. They would not be angry if YOU didn't make them angry, and you have the potential to do that.

You can tell them the truth, and its ok if they get angry, the love and appreciation you will get from god will far outweigh the petty reactions of the people around you. Keep shining that light, and forget about the angry responses it yields.

Heck Jesus took this approach so far that he died on the cross.

I am aware there is something wrong with me. I just couldn't figure it out alone that's why I asked on the forum.

I mean, Jesus makes me angry sometimes as well if I read what he said back then, so I get that. xD

Your problems lie within.

Give out what you would like to receive...this being said, i dont mean manipulate or have expectations of others.

What Joseph says is right...explore your intentions in every interaction.

You said you have some deep fear to engage and open up. What is it you fear? What beliefs are you holding surrounding this fear? Find these answers within yourself and get to the root cause...this can be overcome as quickly as it started so dont wait

start now :)

I think I'm just really afraid of people getting angry at me. So it keeps happening.

hmm, are you sure they don't make themselves angry? instead?

I did have problems with the same thing though... Which is why I'm a very silent guy. I prefer to say nothing because I usually get pain in return..
I'm not ready to be Jesus -_-
Also, I get better results by acting more stupid then I am- Like a clown guiding them without them knowing

I've become extremely silent lately as well. I'm an extrovert though so it feels weird.

I did the same thing with the clown method, but people generally end up thinking you're seriously dumb if you do that, so they won't have any respect for your words. At least in my case.

@exhale
is it not possible that she may be rejected as a child reject its parent?
Or like black people was rejected by racists?

But you're probably right too, if she imposes a higher truth on those who are not ready for it.
Or even *judge* people for being less competent in her place of wisdom or moral.
My observation is, that we all excel at different areas, and to treat others like they are supposed to be just as mature as yourself in what you excel in, is kinda immature or non-productive.
We should send a child to kindergarten, to develop from age 5 to 6, not send the child directly to the university and expect good results.

I'm not imposing truth on anyone. People on this thread keep assuming that I give harsh aggressive truths to people and that I am unaware of the consequences. Quite on the contrary, I try to be as compassionate as I can, I avoid arguments if not necessary, and I can actually sense every little vibration of the other person's being so I'm really careful with what I say. But I get why you guys might be assuming these things. But it's not true for me, because I am extra careful to be a good listener, and even to listen more than I speak, and I don't go up to people telling them random truths out of anger as you guys assumed. I just think that people tend to be more harsh on other people who are very sensitive, for some reason. I mean a neurotic person like me really can be irritating at times I think. :/

@Shin Yes I still keep feeling that way, I can't help it. I feel uncomfortable when I go outside.

There's a lot of truth in @Shin's highlights.

It's a complex issue. It could be your own energy, the way you interact, the way your family interacts, the personality/interests of people you talk to, that your more sensitive than the average person, that you take things too personally, and it just goes on and on.

My mother for instance loves me deeply and I her. And although she would do anything for me, she is completely disinterested in deep conversation/contemplation. She will become easily disinterested and start interacting with her phone. It's not that there is malice there, or that she's treating me badly, she simply would rather sit on a thumbtack than to talk about the meaning of the universe. Theres no way I could word certain topics that could hold her attention. She's much more stimulated by practical conversations or cherished memories.

And that's just one example of why a conversation could go one way.

Yeah my situation is similar with that of yours with your mother. Maybe I took it too personally.

Also all the things I highlighted, to some degree each.

Thats only part of the problem because for someone to even get angry it takes said person to be in a conscious state where such situations illicit anger.

When you tiptoe around people to cater to their levels of development, you may stumble into a degree of inauthenticity.

This is why ideally you would be around those who are on the same page so you can be authentic. It won't be good for you if you have to suppress things you want to say.

Highly developed people like Rumi I imagine are far better at tackling word games for the lower consciousness people whereas a lot of us on here probably aren't there yet. There's also considering what state of development his father is in during such conversations. Some are more receptive and open than others.

Ok then your problem is right there.

How you think about yourself is how you will be treated by other people.

You attract what you feel and think.

Ground yourself, start using Orange into Red, not into Blue (talking about glands/chakras).

So important. This is what people mean when people say as long as you're being authentic the people and situations that don't resonate with you will vibrate out of your life while people who do resonate with you vibrate in. If you are resistant to the change that needs to happen by being inauthentic, then you will continuously suffer.

The Truth you express contradicts the Lie they live. The Key here is to remain in your natural state and be the example. No need to even talk, just be. Sooner or later they will notice by your behavior, hey i wanna be like her/him because Light is contagious and its everyone's natural state of being thus they will be self seeded just by being in your presence. The Ego attacks because it is upset you left. All you can do is Love and be Love.

The more you love, the more ego can surrender and transcend into oneness.

Are you sure you're not overthinking this and cherry picking situations when in fact it doesn't happen that often ?

this.

try to go to a place where high consciousness people abide, like an ashram of sorts, and see how they respond, maybe they might give you insight if they see anything dark about you.

if they are ok with you, and only the people around you act hostile, drop them. or keep conversation to a minimum and find new friends. better nothing than toxicity.

I don't really have red in me. My root chakra is also very inactive.

I'll research ashrams, I think I already found one nearby. :) Good idea!

@Aquarius meditation meditation meditation. Trying to gain muscle by choosing to gain muscle is impossible...it's not the choice, the actual development of the muscle takes place when you walk into a gym and stay there for an hour, every day.

Why would it be any different for the mind? Your mind is an infinitely more complex system, and your subconscious is in control the whole thing. Very little actual authority is given to what is known as "free will." Your subconscious controls your pain, digestion, blood circulation, the respiratory system, throwing up, sex drive, sex orientation etc etc etc. So don't fall for the idea that you can change something fundamental about yourself by "trying harder."

I recommend one, or both of these methods.

1. The "neti neti" method that leo talks about. Which will dissolve the idea that you exist, and how can you be worried if there is no "i" to be worried? (I do this one)

2. Law of attraction. Check out the teaching behind law of attraction if you don't know it already. There's a lot of western commercialisation of this though, like "get rich quick" schemes. Try to get to the bones of it. How it actually works is, you have a vibrational energy (apparently), and this vibrational energy kind of governs the subconscious make-up of your situation. The only reason your in the situations your in, is because you've some how or another created it. An example of this is when someone is trying to make you angry, you can either feed into their trap and become angry...or completely rise above them, so much so you don't even reply. It requires your energy. So look into that. Manipulating these things once you know how they work, is actually super effective. U can change anything about yourself

The other thing too is you get what you expect to see in life (this is that self-fulfilling prophesy thing going on) — and this is the trippier thing, people will relate to you how you expect them to relate to you.  Once you get more confident and open people will treat you well because they can see that you expect them to treat you well.  You will give off a totally different energy to them.  People can feel it when you’re silently judging them that they will give you what you want from them.  But if you’re not judging them and they can see you have standards and mean well, people will treat you well by default.  I’ve confirmed this in my own life.  People do not like to be judged, and if they are judged they like to be judged admirably.  So, when people feel like you are judging them, they will give you what you expect from them.

@Joseph Maynor totally totally agree, I've found this naturally. And this is why law creates criminals. Tell a child not to touch a wall with wet paint on it and it becomes the only thing in the world he wants to touch

This is why having an “I’m ugly and everybody hates me” attitude is one of the worst beliefs and energies you can transmit to others.  People will take you at your own assessment of yourself.  And they’ll give you what you want.  If you look like somebody who wants to get that kind of feedback from others, that’s what other people will give you!  It’s so important to understand this self-fulfilling prophesy dynamic.
