If you have not taken the MBTI - start here: https://www.16personalities.com/free-personality-test

For those of you who have taken the test, how are you utilizing your strengths and facing/working your weaknesses?

Here is a personal example: As an INFJ, i tend to use coping mechanisms such as designating a later time to process a complex situation or idea I want to deepen. This is often an intuitive experience, so I quickly text myself to remember it for later. Then, when i am not around people, i like to analyze how the situation i was in could have gone better/what i could have done to improve it.

I am an classic INTP. As a self-actualized being, I have learned to utilize all of the functions in a harmonious way, such that even my Inferior function (Fe), is being activated at a high level. I have also unlocked my ENTJ shadow which allows me to get shit done in external reality. A lot of the time, INTPs get stuck in there heads too much to the point of being unproductive externally, but once you activate your ENTJ shadow (who have Te as their first function), you become ambitious as fuck and you have the raw intelligence (that comes with the territory of being an INTP) to back it up. So, now, and with any self-actualized INTP (as Leo is one himself), we can make monstrous changes to the world, and change it for the better. Einstein himself was an INTP.

I think socializing is useless, I mean, talking about why Susie sucked Mike ? Come on, don't you suck Mike every sunday, why is it so disgusting so suddenly ?

I prefer to go tunnel vision on a subject, even if it take years to accomplish it (and even if I have 0.1% chance to make it happen).

I have my whole life planned already, why waste time figuring it out when you can simply write it in a .txt ?

People tells me I'm arrogant, I keep telling I have no idea what they're talking about !

I bet you can't find my type without reading about it on some mbti type ???

I always used to get INFP-T. I have taken it many times.

Now I just took it and got INTP-A.

Maybe it's because of improved awareness that I get a different score now, or an actual change in personality. Or just my mood/state of mind.

A good tool is to let people that know you well and that you trust take the test for you, as if they were you.

Everyone got blindspots so it's interesting to see how other people experience your personality, and then you can compare notes to the results of the test when you took it yourself.

I like the Enneagram way better. It's deeper and more precise imo. I'm probably a INTJ. Even though my F is rather strong.

Just now, Sahil Pandit said:

@Shin haha tunnel vision is good. But to play the devil's advocate, not all socializing is about gossip.

Other people can provide tons of value and diverse opinions that can really open up your mind and make you rethink your whole life.

Btw, we are socializing right now Susie B|

I wasn't serious,

Mike ?

@Sahil Pandit I don't remember which one it was. But I also explored what the types meant and so I "typed" myself. Internet tests are not that reliable. For example, I do get my correct Enneatype with Subtype here: https://www.eclecticenergies.com/enneagram/test2 but for others it might not work that way and I would not recommend typing with a test without understanding what the basic model is.

INTP is mine! You are not allowed to be INTP. Find some other personality type!

@Sahil Pandit INTP master race. "Intuitive types" are probably super common on this forum. MBTI is complicated to the point where it can be hard to type yourself. Videos by a guy called "Michael Pierce" on youtube are good for understanding typology. Remember to always take it with a pinch of salt, but I believe there is something substantive to this. Watch the very well made videos on this playlist (idk about the introduction) to understand a particular type. I found them to be very illuminating lol

Hark ye yet again — the little lower layer. All visible objects, man, are but as pasteboard masks. But in each event — in the living act, the undoubted deed — there, some unknown but still reasoning thing puts forth the mouldings of its features from behind the unreasoning mask. If man will strike, strike through the mask! How can the prisoner reach outside except by thrusting through the wall? To me, the white whale is that wall, shoved near to me. Sometimes I think there's naught beyond. But 'tis enough.

Spirituality is any movement towards the Unnamable. Everything is spiritual.

The only true way out Resistance is going into it because any way out of it is staying in it.

The purest life possible is surrendering to the Absolute.
