Self knowledge opens the door to wisdom. Understanding the nature of thought and it’s relationship with the psychological compulsion to become or maintain sense of ego/self security. By understanding the stream of thought one can be conscious of ones own disorderly thinking. Being aware of the nature of thought one doesn’t proceed in the contradicting, fragmented, and mechanistic movement of thinking. Also one is aware of how the psyche directly influences how how rationally, logically, and how reasonable that train of thought will be.

The accumulation of knowledge, through memory and experience is not a measure of wisdom. The understanding of the whole field of thought/self does.

Also when there is a wholistic understanding of thought/self that puts an end to all conflict in relationship with oneself and with others. Thought cease to interfere in the movement of relationship. As thought has no place in relationship. To see the limitations of thought leads one with a capacity to put it in its right place. As a function and for practical purposes.

This is the way I think of wisdom.?

@Outer

Understanding your nature and the movement of thought is not important? If you are not aware of how you think won’t you remain in a pattern of disorderly thought?

Therfore one will start/continue to create psychological problems for themselves and that confliction and contradiction will be expressed outwardly for others.

There’s a lot of topics I have seen you indulge in that seemed rather superficial. Yet when it comes to something that actually leads to healthy relationships with yourself and one another you say it doesn’t matter???

Did you have a Bad day??‍♂️. It’s ok man don’t be sad?

Lol just kidding man. Don’t get all reactive on me?

I think wisdom has to do with ones ability to navigate the messy complexities of real life with all it's twists and contradictions. It is about sound judgement and discernment.

“Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad.”

INSTEAD OF COMMUNICATING WITH PEOPLE AS IF THEY POSSESSED INTELLIGENCE, TRY USING ABSTRACT SPIRITUAL TERMS THAT CONVEY NO USABLE INFORMATION. :)

Some good definitions here. Maybe someone wants to mention the people who are wisest in his opinion? And why?

1) Myself - Hopefully, kind of screwed otherwise.....
2) Batman
3) Charlton Heston
4) Bugs Bunny
5) The Roadrunner.

Something to do with temperance. Perhaps how a blade maybe tempered, flex and not break.
