Why I Think Magic Is Real

i'd be cautious around this Siddhis stuff too, seems like something Aubrey Marcus would be interested in. Again, like we said previously, it's just this desire for things to go above and beyond the magic that they already are. Like wanting to see a Yogi float rather than just being amazed he is breathing

Why do Siddhis impress us? Because they go above and beyond normal reality. But normal reality is the magic. Imagine that there used to be absolutely nothing, then this reality appeared from that, how is that not enough?

Now, we get greedy and want things that defy that, like levitation, mind reading, future telling, etc.

It's childish, ultimately it's an immature way of relating to God. Which is why it is Stage Purple Age 0-5 for most humans, it's that level of development. If this is your cup of tea, go follow Aubrey Marcus and his Jesus-Alien guests.

There are yogis with psychic abilities in India, but not in every corner. I have personally witnessed, heard and read about the same. 

I don't consider it a major deal, as anyone can develop these abilities with the right practices and environment. 

There are some people in the west as well with some inborn psychic abilities and I remember reading articles about them. So it is not much of a mystery over there, though they may not be able to fully understand the mechanism behind it.

 There are enlightened sages with highly advanced psychic abilities as well. 

What is said to be magic could be related to a combination of these genuine psychic abilities of some amateurs as well as cleverly engineered optical illusions .

A genuine sage would not show off these abilities unless it is for inspiring faith or for practical utilities. 

I really wish such sages were there in all countries, as it would help bring down the dominant materialistic paradigm in many countries around the world which is putting blinders on morality and spirituality as such.
