They believe that divine truth was given to humanity in different stages through different prophets that came and founded the other religions. They taught unity of religion instead of group think. They have their own prophets The Bab and Baha Ullah that originated in the 19th century.

They have churches all over, saw one in Toronto and looking up their history and practices they seem pretty cool.

If you have a relationship with God, hierarchy of religions makes no sense.

Yes . Most people don’t think they are god though and it’s not going to click in Their minds . So the better alternative is to have a relationship with god as an other ,through worship . Meet people where they are . Don’t assume that all people are at the same level of development.

Islam is certainly not the most high consciousness religion, neither in the past nor today . Christianity definitely seems more conscious. I said it’s the most beautiful religion to my heart .
Bahai religion is trying to mimic Islam . Their holy book is a laughable attempt at trying to produce a work of literature which is a work of art compared to the Quran .

Because being god is too good to be true .No matter how dark it gets or difficult it gets ..no matter how long it is going to take .. my destiny is the infinite happiness and infinite joy and love as the best thing ever ..God .  “

There is no duality between the individual and the relation when it comes to God.

The response Leo should give when people compare his work to religions is to not be triggered or act offended. The act of being triggered or offended suggests something is missing.

The best response is sometimes no response. Just keep doing you. When you act offended, then you prove their point.

“Our most valuable resource is not time, but rather it is consciousness itself. Consciousness is the basis for everything, and without it, there could be no time and no resource possible. It is only through consciousness and its cultivation that one’s passions, one’s focus, one’s curiosity, one’s time, and one’s capacity to love can be actualized and lived to the fullest.” - r0ckyreed

Leo has a right to create however he wants to.  Nobody is taking any offense to that.

Why would the Bahai Holy Book be laughable? What makes the Quran a work of art and not mostly gibberish nonsense?

They do a great job of PR and poetry you see how @Thought Art fell for that side of it and then they use that to make you accept the authoritarian societal control it pushes and the rigid cult like hierarchy it operates under.

They are so deeply devoid of actual introspection beyond surface level virtue signalling that I've had muslim friends talk about how Andrew Tate is obviously a deep man of God since he converted to Islam lol

@Joseph Maynor It matters a lot because those religions affect the world and their followers to varying degrees some in good ways and for others it oppresses them and controls them.

Us having a personal relationship to God doesn't stop you from understanding how human politics operate on earth. It should elevate our perspectives and make us more thorough in our epistemology if anything.

I understand Arabic.  The Quran , in Arabic ,has a clear and distinct musical rhythm . I’m not claiming the meaning of the phrases is a work of art or not . It mostly speaks about god’s existence, god’s qualities, the purpose of life and such topics . You could argue that any poem is a work of art . But coming from a person who claims to have direct contact with Allah (God ) , and who was historically documented to be illiterate, it makes it beautiful.  The Baha’i holy book is a clear attempt at mimicking the Quranic style .

I think you should be careful pointing stuff as laughable if what you enjoy most from it's alternative is the musical aspect of it. We're talking about deep philosophy and politics here and the impact on mankind. Do you live in an islamic society or are you art of the muslim diaspora? I think anyone who has grown up muslim or that knows muslim people will have many stories of neglect and abuse tied to that style of upbringing.

Islam is not unique in that aspect plenty of cultures also abuse their people but it's pretty consistent in that practice and rarely do I meet someone that came from that religion that hasn't experienced it.

When I said the Quran is a work of art, I was referring specifically to its literary and poetic style. Its linguistic structure is distinctive and, in my view, extraordinarily difficult to imitate. That’s also part of why I find its composition so remarkable, particularly given the traditional account of Muhammad as someone who neither read nor wrote.

And when I mentioned the Baha’i writings, my point was simply that they attempt to reproduce or echo the Qur’anic style. It’s a fact . Do the research if you don’t know.

I wasn’t trying to turn the conversation into a debate about “deep philosophy” or politics.

I simply said that Islam is my favorite religion. Favorite does not mean I consider it the end-all and be-all of every possible question. I can admire a religion deeply without pretending that I have nothing left to question, learn, or understand.

If you want to discuss Islam’s impact on politics, that’s a completely different conversation .and honestly, I don’t have enough experience or knowledge in that area to pretend otherwise. Leo taught me a principle I take seriously: don’t speak with certainty about things you don’t understand well or haven’t actually experienced.

So I’m perfectly comfortable defending what I actually said, while also being honest about the limits of what I know.

@Someone here Got it, I'm glad we agree that it's best taken as interesting niche beliefs to study and Islam is not an accurate ideology in terms of proper living or a serious deconstruction of reality.

Well , what Islam and the Quran talk about is a mixed of things which are true , and things which are “interesting niche beliefs to study “.

An example of truths : God exists . God is all-powerful . God is all-Knowing .

an example of beliefs : Angels , Devils , hell , paradise , an afterlife , the day of resurrection.

Let me now turn back your first line against you.

Scientists living in Islam made great contribution to human knowledge in fields like algebra, optics and medicine. Most of these advancements were able to exist IN SPITE of the religious orthodoxy not due to it.

Ibn Sina wrote The Canon of Medicine and published in 1025, it ended up being the foundational medical textbook used across Europe and the Islamic world for over 500 years. He spent years in hiding and spent years fleeing religious and political enemies

Al-Razi, Ibn al-Haytham, Ibn Rushd and Al-Kindi were also brilliant scientists and visionaries of that time that got prosecuted by the regime and some of their works only found light years after their death because of Islamic dogma.

Crediting Islam as a religion for scientific progress is like crediting the Catholic Inquisition for Galileo's telescope just because he was born in a Christian country. They prosecuted him and had him revoke his findings by threat of burning at the sake and he instead was place in house arrest for the crime of being truthful and making accurate observations about reality.

You're actually a clown. A clown says or does funny things to entertain people and brings comedic relief to a stressful existence.

I'm somewhat entertained but I find a lack of intellectualism to be akin to a bad odor in a room that needs to be cleaned out; it's really not that funny although there is some amusement to find in everything in life otherwise one goes insane.

If you want to take a deep dive into Shia Islamic mysticism, I highly recommend Henry Corbin.  A good starting point is his book “Alone with the Alone”.   He describes the imaginal realm as a concrete objective reality that sits between the physical world of the five senses and the Intellectual world of abstract concepts.  It is the space where mystical visions, prophetic revelations, and spiritual journeys take place.

When Gandhi died in the power vacuum he created in India lead to a civil war which killed over 2 million people. His act of non-violence lead to a war.

Gandhi used teachings of nonviolent agitation and universal brotherhood as a social tool to unify Indian society which was highly fragmented along diverse casteist, religious, regional, racial and linguistic lines , and to channel their energies to fighting exploitative british colonialism back then .

Through his personal example, speeches and writings ,discussions, rallies and social movements and so on, he created a unified , cohesive society and political movement against british colonialism.

Many of his muslim friends and comrades also joined him in this venture .

Khudai Khidmatgar was a non-violent, Pashtun muslim freedom movement against British rule in colonial India inspired by Gandhi. Founded in 1929 by Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan (also called Bacha Khan or the Frontier Gandhi), its members wore red shirts and worked nonviolently and progressively for social reform, education, and national unity.

That Gandhi was able to unify such highly fragmented sections into a cohesive whole was a great success in itself and showcased his leadership skills.

I don't think there is any other leader in the world that have achieved such a feat.

This should be seen in the background and context of the regressive Hindu and Muslim societies back then in India stuck in primitive conditioning  and consequent inter-religious disharmony, which was further inflamed by the British with their divide and rule policies which they had heavily invested in.

While Gandhi's efforts were instrumental in unifying Indian society to a large extent, he was not able to overcome the partitioning of India on religious lines.

However, India had survived  intact for the last 80 years and is also on the road to great prosperity as the fastest growing major economy in the world for many years now. It is the fourth largest economy in the world and is forecast to displace the US as the largest economy in the world after a few decades.

The stability which India enjoyed for many decades inspite of large-scale diversity,  is mainly due to Gandhi's legacy of nonviolence which prevented the balkanisation of India sequencing to  various small regional conflicts and wars , as has happened in Europe prior and during the two world wars and aftermath as well, and which had killed many millions of europeans then and now.

You don't need to kill or maim anyone or destroy public property created by tax money, to make a religious or political statement. Just carrying a banner and uttering slogans or going on a fast will do.

In Pakistan, inter-sectarian conflicts resulting in Sunni-Shia-Sufi-Ahmediya riots are commonplace resulting in deaths of thousands of muslims due to suicide bombings and riots, while the same do not take place in India.

The only muslim scientist to get a Nobel prize in physics was Abdus Salam from Pakistan. However he was subjected to severe state and societal discrimination and prejudice in Pakistan due to his Ahmediya sectarian background.

On the other hand he was treated respectfully and well in India when he came there, and received awards for excellence in science , and later stated that he was prouder to be called an Indian than a Pakistani.

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam was a former Indian president of muslim identity and rocket scientist who played a major role in the Indian space programme.

Kalam considered the message of non-violence India's greatest contribution to global civilization and believed humanity has yet to find a better tool than Gandhian thought to unite people and reach a common objective

He frequently highlighted Gandhi’s philosophy of non-violence and the convergence of minds as an unmatched model for resolving conflict and achieving national and international goals.

No, religion is top down ideological package that seeks to mold a society to its goals. This is why some Islamic men assimilate poorly when immigrating to the west because they see it as a corrupt society that they have to mold to their image and get offended by having to follow and thus submit to the local culture when they only submit to the high and mighty God himself(and their local imans and family members with more status and power then them of course.)

A lot of muslim men I know have really strange personalities with a huge shadow and toxic traits hidden while being really nice people probably because they never were allowed or taught how to wrestle with God and authority and thus mostly submit in public and then are resentful and ruminate a lot on their own.

It leads to really unbalanced people but also institutions and governments. It's not an accident that Saudi Arabia and UAE are known for massive slave labor and exploitation of foreigners in their construction industries still TODAY. Why don't they just have proper human rights and regulation? Because their holy book gives them a free pass at exploiting non-believers as they're a 2nd class order of being and basically subhuman when it comes to human rights. Conquering, raping and enslaving conquered people? No problem they're not muslim, it's actually a good thing you're helping cleanse the world!

Walmart doesn't do this. Even social media platforms don't do this. Religions are very unique in their cult like tendencies. That's why a lot of them tend to disown their kids over it, it's not a simple difference of opinion it's a massive in group vs the enemy type of thing.

Most religions don't discuss theology don't discuss theology in depth with people. They make you feel good, recipe some profound verse about their chosen figures and then fearmonger you about hell and eternal doom if you don't follow them.

I've been to church many times and to a mosque as well. I never actually learned much about religion or God there. I had to go and watch videos and read stuff on it myself.

Which is why @gengar and @Majed don't understand what they're saying when they're putting Islam on top of Actualized.org

It's bad intellectualism. Leo is not a cultish person but most other religions can be described as such in many ways.
