The myth of “don’t give a fuck” energy attracting women

Getting sex too easily is not a good thing. Sex is better when it's harder to get.

I've seen guys who get laid a lot, up close. They are mostly miserable people who take it all for granted. I do not envy them and I would not trade my life for theirs.

There are ways of having sex with women, that doesn't involve meeting them, interacting with them or having to deal with their "shit". Only issue is that it costs money, but honestly I don't care.

The issue there isn’t sex is easy to get. It’s that they aren’t developing themselves or are still trying to use it to fill their emptiness or avoid confronting themselves.

They likely behave like that because it was hard to get so they attached their self worth to it.

Sex being hard to get is worse because now you’re spending all your time fixating on how to get sex instead of just viewing it as normal and self actualizing in other ways.

Sex is easy to get for women yet that doesn’t result in women wrecking their lives in most cases, and if it does it’s usually some other issue.

I can't remember with how many women I have had sex with in the last 2-3 days....

But there are a few I can remember, because I had sex with them before. Haha.

I think the biggest part of the problem for men in modern dating is that they stand in their own way.

Most girls out there actually want to have sex with or without relationship settings. They literally desire sex possibly more than many men do. They're turned on by default. They even go out shaved and cleaned just in case lol. Your only job as a man is to not turn them off. That's it.

Precisely. And yet we still find a way to screw it up.  Leave it to men. And you will leave the lights on.

What is God gonna do about it? Health problems are baked into the pie.

No, but teaching is as rewarding as parenting, so I have enough reward.

@Leo Gura What lead to your decision to not having kids. I remember I used to struggle with not having clarity on this decision and my ex left me because of it. I have gained clarity that I don’t want kids. But that was after a ton of visualization and contemplation as well as observing other parents and children. It isn’t for me. I am selfish and I value my freedom.

“Our most valuable resource is not time, but rather it is consciousness itself. Consciousness is the basis for everything, and without it, there could be no time and no resource possible. It is only through consciousness and its cultivation that one’s passions, one’s focus, one’s curiosity, one’s time, and one’s capacity to love can be actualized and lived to the fullest.” - r0ckyreed

My interests are simply elsewhere. I am trying to transcend survival, not to drive myself deeper into it.

Having kids means doubling down on survival for 20+ years. That's not what I want.

If I had kids, I would resent being bogged down in that much survival. I am way too disillusioned for that.

And my health problems make that even worse.

Why escape survival when only the ego has interests

If what I say makes sense

Because I don't like being a rat in a wheel, running endlessly nowhere.

@Leo Gura is that even possible? i guess you can minimaze it a lot, but you still have a business to run, pay bills, etc
Have you considered shifting your relationship to and with survival Vs making it a bad thing?

It is possible to stop feeding the beast.

Having kids is the surest way to feed the beast.

People keep unconsciously doubling and tripling their survival load. I avoid stuff like that.

Yes but where do you want to go

Sometimes I am aware enough to perceive the ego-driven nature of my desires and consequently they lose a significant amount of their sense of reality and capacity to satisfy in those moments. Because if I am aware enough that "liking" "drinking" this "bottle" of "water" is a script, then the magic trick is spoiled.

But at the same time once again there is nowhere to go. Even if I became aware enough to let myself die I’ll just forget and "reincarnate" elsewhere. So I figure I might as well continue with this incarnation plan.

Anyway free will, the idea that there is a "doer", and thus a choice between "continuing the incarnation, the "survival"" and "leaving" is an illusion so in the absolute sense it doesn't matter; Karma/samsara is simply following its course. This whole discussion is pointless so lolz.

I could go even further and say "nothingness" or I don't know what lol but I think you get what I mean.

@Leo Gura Do you ever wonder what a biological child of yours would have been like?

Is that something you've had to accept, that you'll never be able to know, or did you simply never care about it?

There's a lot of peer pressure around having kids. I'm 30, and most people I know keep asking when I'm going to get married and have children, saying it's already time and that I need to hurry for some reason. It's getting pretty annoying.

I don't want to fill my life with such major attachment and the added responsibility and survival pressure that come with raising a family. I also don't know how to explain that to people who haven't really thought much about those tradeoffs.

How do you handle that kind of peer pressure, if you've experienced it?

People around me are starting to have children because "it's time" or because it's simply what everyone does. I'm sure many of them find a lot of meaning in it, but I'm not sure they've really considered the tradeoffs.
