Some things he says there suggest he might have the conceptual understanding but not direct and that he hadn’t realized Truth and that even his “low conscious girlfriend” is Truth. But a lot can be lost in translation when communicating to others so it’s hard to say his level of understanding. 

I’ll say another thing. Just because his way of operating may have been threatening to survival, says nothing about his level of understanding. Maybe he simply did not care. And just because your opinion is different it doesn’t mean its superior on the Absolute.

Obviously whatever happened did happen and is what is(Truth).

That doesn’t mean you should do the same thing. Just realize that survival’s high horse is only survival’s high horse, not the Absolute.

Judging insanity from below is epistemically naive. If your own consciousness is limited to what you would call sanity, there is no way you can understand insanity, and therefore shouldn’t speak of it arrogantlt.

He was enlightened.  The problem he has what we all want to have. We want to enlighten the world. But it just doesn't work that way. He couldn't figure that out. He couldn't figure out how to be here. And that's fine.

@Hojo It's similar but not the same in the sense that you feel zero fear or anxiety about anything, and that's the issue. The normal part of your brain that warns you of consequences is switched off. You do stupid, bold, careless shit whereas with a panic attack you freeze and shut down.

you not dreaming all materialism because your mind generate a render of a "thing/material world".

That's because connor believed in absolute idealism to the point of denying the instinctive framework of materialism ( who is in a sense still very true ) than he died.

And you all still assume materialism, believe me, you not trying to enter inside your walls when you move around in your house.
