What a great sentiment. Yes, unhappiness, grumpiness, misery, are all signs of being in a state of unintelligence because the unhappy person couldn't figure out how to be happy in that scenario. 

It's is often said smart people are unhappy because they know so much but that's a myth. If they were truly smart they would be happy. 

Of course deaths and health issues are exceptions to this rule.

We need to deconstruct this notion that intelligence = unhappiness.

"Smart" is usually associated with being unhappy when it's defined as a psychic imbalance of high IQ (working memory, pattern recognition) and low psychological depth, complexity, introspective ability, refinement, values, awareness, meaning, being, and simply happenstance, precarious situations.

There's a difference between pleasure and fullfillment. I think he means happiness based on the latter. Usually intelligent people are less likely to be thrilled in any environment. I haven't seen the video yet though.

Happiness has little relation to smarts.

Many smart people are deeply unhappy. And many stupid people are happy.

Obviously animals don't need smarts to be happy.

Happiness is easier when life is simple. Smarts make life very complicated.

Everytime you try to be smart you are open to getting triggered. The smartest thing you can do is reach peak levels then realize its better to be a retard.

What does smarts have to do with sitting in the sun stretching?

Smart people can be the happiest when they realize that its better to be retarded. But being smart can cause immense suffering mentally. Way more than its worth. You can waste alot of time pretending to be smart. And our smartness will never reach peak it cant. We are retarded to God.

Im so smart I purposefully act like a retard.

Being less intellectual or knowledgeable never made anyone less happy. It dosent even make sense. Im not happy cause I dont know something that I dont even know. That slot is saved for God.

Being smart decreases happiness. Being less self aware makes you happier. And everything 'smart' is in relation to yourself.
