that valuable things take time. This is the most important thing that I learned that gave meaning to my life.

This was a profound insight for me as well. It's such a simple concept, but I never wrapped my head around this when I was young and naive.

Simple concepts taken to the depths.

It is easy to believe that valuable things don't require development over time in this capitalist quick-scheme era.

"turn inwards"
this was huge for me back when I've just discovered Leo's work.

You/Me is the biggest devil of them all, and admitting that is an important wake up call.

A really difficult pill to swallow is realizing  that every single “wrong” that’s happening is coming from within you. No where else or from no one else. Your own mind is constructing all this chaos, misunderstanding, and self-deception! Therefore, it’s my responsibility to understand, deconstruct, and heal from this corruption. Blaming it on others is a huge trap.

very difficult to constantly practice . for example consider openmindedness

open mindedness is nice and cool. but it has a lot of consequences.  like you will have a constant shattering of your world views.  you dont know whats right. you will waste time on ideas that are full of shit. you will have to face things that are against things which you are ego invested.

Not necessarily liked but find the most important and meaningful:

Integrity and Truth. Without these, we spind around like unconscious apes, going nowhere.

Integrity.

It's such a beautiful practice. It's the highest form of taking care of reality. Making sure things are as they should be.

But this 'should be' is devoid of ego. Which is hard in practice. Still worth it.

Yes, integrity is mostly directly against human selfishess and ego that practicing integrity gets you into so much trouble, it’s hard.

Despite that, that’s what’s aligned with the highest Truth, which is truly the highest value in existence.
