What are the most comfy shoes?

24 posts in this topic

Hey everyone, I`m looking for the most comfortable shoes there is. Probably it would be snickers. I don`t really care about how shoe looks, I just need practical comfort when I wear them. THAT`S IT. Also I heard about 5fingers but don`t know much about it.

I know this all depends on every individual and it is very custom, but

What are the most comfortable shoes you`ve ever worn?

Thanks for your answers. I really appreciate you guys

I want to try barefoot shoes. I am yet to find shoes that don't hurt my toes.

I will never go back. In my top 5 decisions of the decade so far.

They are expensive but, Hokas.

I've tried many different running shoes. Had a 12 year career running big box retail stores (thank God I got out of that) on my feet 9hrs a day. Run / xtrain 25kms a week. Average 15k steps a day walking.

Vans, Converse New Balance, Asics, Brooks, Saucony, Nike, Ascent, Archies - all a no from me. Tried them all in different types across ranges.

The nurses at the hospitals at work at all wear and recommend Hokas.

Obviously gait and application matter - if it is just for walking or general use I would go with Hokas.

It is far easier to fool someone, than to convince them they have been fooled.

If you are heavy, you would need a shoes with big base for stability and space. No one size fits all.

I wear Saguaro barefoot shoes as much as possible. They don't have individual fingers but they feel like a sock with a rubber sole and have a very wide toebox.

Your feet can get pretty cold if the floor is cold though.

That makes sense Veg Boi, those shoes will work well in Islam.

Barefoot shoes are very pleasurable in nature with a bunch of soft grounds, but just feel harsh on roads and pavements.

For general use for me, just the shoe being sufficiently lightweight makes them good enough if they are also aesthetic.

It’s got nothing to do with the pavement & everything to do with how you use your feet.

Really? I think without some soft tissue under your feet it really fucks up your knees and joints

I think it has more do to strength specifically. I jerk off with my feet, so technique is in no short supply. Your feet and ankles have to work harder when there's no cushioning. It absolutely matters when 95% of your environment is hard surfaces.

Well come tell that to my knees lol. I have been barefoot(on pavement most of the time) exclusively for 3 years & my whole body feels 10 times better than it did before. There is a period of adaptation cause you have to actually learn how to walk for the first time & that creates some cognitive dissonance.

Barefoot shoes are bad because hipsters wear them, and hipsters are bad. I feel sorry for anyone who feels that they need to leave little footprints that have little toes like they are actually barefeet. It's not funny and you look weird.

You don’t need to wear them and you can think I’m weird all you want. Don’t spread misinformation though.
