Powerful men who want to indulge in vice can't do so easily with ''regular'' escorts because of the risk - they can buy sex but not safety. So they need controllable environments and women (in this or some cases young girls) - and control invariably leads to the exploitation and the dark underworld of trafficking. He provided illicit pleasure in a insulated space where they could let their guard down and be just as depraved as he was. Scum of the earth.

I agree that was the appeal but I think it's unlikely the usual deliverables were young girls, so I'm not sure I'd call everyone who indulged depraved.

My guess is Epstein mostly kept the young ones to himself and only offered them to his acquaintances when they showed interest. I'm guessing people like Musk and Gates didn't partake in the super young ones. Gates may have. Trump seems the type, but who knows.

Honestly judging by the video interview alone he seems pretty based.

What do you mean? He was obviously deflecting away from the question and bullshiting. Very manipulative.

I mean he seems rational. Philosophically deep aswell. His take on ethics was an interesting one for me and I think he was making a good point in saying ethics are always a difficult subject. I was also impressed by his demeanor and level of honesty.

I guess his speech check failed on me. To me it came off as trying to weasel out of hard questions. Like justifying a criminal enterprise because you donate to sick and poor people. It's the rich man's praying to god for forgiveness. The fact that he went into abstraction at all is weaselly and should ring alarm bells. It's like if you asked Putin why he invaded Ukraine and he starts explaining his version of 500 years of history. It's rhetorical smoke.
