Is there any evidence that ICE in America is being trained by IDF?

"Yes, there are multiple reports, whistleblower accounts, and documented programs indicating that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and officials have participated in training exchanges with Israeli security forces, which include elements of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). These connections are often framed as part of broader U.S.-Israel law enforcement collaborations focused on border security, counterterrorism, and surveillance tactics. While not all ICE personnel undergo such training, evidence points to sponsored trips, seminars, and technology sharing that bring Israeli methods to U.S. operations.Key evidence includes:A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request revealed that the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) sponsored a trip for ICE's then-deputy director to train with the Israeli military in 2018, learning techniques from their occupation and border control practices.

This was part of ongoing exchanges criticized for importing aggressive tactics used in the Palestinian territories to U.S. immigration enforcement. The "Deadly Exchange" campaign by Jewish Voice for Peace and others documents how ICE officers, along with other U.S. law enforcement, have trained with Israeli military and police forces for decades. These programs emphasize stopping "crime before it reaches the U.S." through cooperation, including seminars in Israel funded by groups like the ADL and the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs.

Whistleblower Anthony Aguilar, a retired U.S. Army Green Beret, has publicly stated that ICE agents train with Israeli forces and bring back oppressive methods, such as those used in controlling populations, to U.S. streets. He highlighted this in interviews and social media, linking it to tactics observed in ICE operations.

ICE maintains an office in Tel Aviv as part of its global network for international law enforcement cooperation, which facilitates training and intelligence sharing with Israeli entities, including those tied to the IDF.

Reports also note ICE's use of Israeli-made spyware, like that from Paragon Solutions, for hacking and surveillance, further tying operational methods to Israeli military tech.

Journalistic analyses from outlets like Palestine Chronicle, Truthout, Defector, and Mondoweiss describe how ICE's tactics—such as rapid detentions, high arrest quotas, and minimal accountability—mirror those of the IDF, with direct links through these exchanges.

These reports often critique the programs as enabling a "transnational nexus of state control" involving surveillance and violence. On X (formerly Twitter), recent discussions—especially around a January 2026 ICE-involved shooting in Minneapolis—frequently reference these training ties, with users claiming IDF influence leads to aggressive U.S. tactics. Some posts allege ex-IDF soldiers are embedded in ICE, though official records don't confirm specific numbers like "121 in Chicago."

Critics, including activist groups and some media, argue these programs promote militarized immigration enforcement, while supporters view them as valuable for countering threats like terrorism and human trafficking. Official ICE statements emphasize international partnerships for security but don't detail IDF-specific training. Skeptics on platforms like Reddit call for more granular evidence of what exact tactics are implemented.

Overall, the evidence stems largely from progressive and Palestinian rights sources, with limited counterarguments in mainstream outlets, though no outright denials from ICE or DHS appear in recent reporting.

ICE agents seem to be particularly sadistic, poorly trained, and obnoxious compared to other federal officers.

Right now democrats don’t seem interested in really confronting the issue, maybe for the better because trump might be seeking a confrontation.

I think it'll be very important for the democratic party to unite in the midterms and propose new effective action to oppose Magaland
