This type of response is the perfect case study for why spiritual insights aren't indicative of wisdom in other domains. Ego transcendence doesn't mean you know crap about politics, or have advanced ethical insights - quite the opposite, from what I've been able to surmise from your response to a murder.

You mistake your political righteousness for clarity and wisdom, and in doing so you only reveal your own ego that most people are trying to transcend on this forum. You try to dominate and show that you're hurt by my response while you don't have a slightest clue where i'm coming from and you claim that you're the adult here. I don't think this is your place. Learn to reply without judgement and without forcing others to prove themselves to your standards and world view. The world you live in is already not so nice of a place, i don't think it needs another you to amplify its chaos and delusion.

I get you, to an extent. But I also understand why people are irritated by your response. It was out of place on a political thread where somebody has been killed. High level spiritual truisms don't really add anything to the conversation, because the conversation here is about a very emotionally charged concrete physical event that occurred.

It is roughly equivalent to going to a Africa to find a starving child and telling them "don't worry, you're actually an infinite being that is imagining it is finite, and so there is nothing objectively wrong with you starving" – yes, it's true on a universal scale but it is so far above what the person you are talking to is concerned with that you end up coming across as an asshole. You've gotta meet people where they're at, or just don't bother commenting at all.

My response was meant to challenge people’s worldviews this is exactly why it was phrased the way it was phrased, it is meant to get people out of their caves who indentify with ego and other false realities that are not their own that cause them hurt. I expected replies like DocWatts gave, because that’s how awareness gets sparked. Everything happening now is part of the world being cleansed. Suppressed truths will rise and false belief systems will crumble under their own weight. 2027 is the year of remembrance, whether people like it or not.

Depends what you are looking for. USA is better than EU now but both are declining rapidly so almost anywhere else is better. South East Asia would be a nice place to live for few years

How is the USA better than the EU? Across almost every development or quality of life metric the USA typically ranks around 15th and almost all of the countries above it are European.

I will agree that SEA is one of my favourite places in the world, but only if you’re backed by a western income.
