How is claude better? When I was using it when it came out i prefered chatgpt, but now I don't know anymore

Happy to announce that on Dec 24th my Plus subscription ended; a true Christmas miracle!

I hope I'm not imagining it. 

Also removed the desktop app and phone, switched to Claude and Gemini. Altman is a fucking scammer, I no longer support the product.

ChatGPT is good too. You just have to choose which you prefer.

Also, you have to start each session by giving a standard instruction to not praise you, to give short answers, and to not ask you questions. This cuts out 80% of the boilerplate BS.

ChatGPT is designed to praise you with bullshit.

it will also praise you with counter argument if you program it to not please you as the mode that please you.
claude is by default more safe guardrailed on certain things, gpt is still the best once a bit programmed and iterated.

Nothing is ever really free, so do your research. I don't wanna be responsible for contributing to the "The Great 2028 Perplexity Scandal" but the thing above worked for me and friends I sent it to. 

I found it just logging into my PayPal app. Initially I thought it was malware but it's real.

I much prefer Claude as well. It’s really useful. I think you have to instruct it though and definitely don’t rely on it fully… it makes a lot of mistakes still.

Probably because it is LOL. It's the sum of the collective sperg dregs of trolling on the internet.

I never use it for information. Just compiling and formatting. Huge asset there. It's great for meeting minutes.

Maybe you dont prompt correctly what you want, chat gpt is like a horse to tame. I can assure I have solved complex health related issues talking with it, that my doctor had no idea how to solve. Also finding car failures that a human mechanic would take 3 expensive procedures to discard the cause chatgpt gave me the solution fast  and easy.

The context is construction. 

Try asking it how to design an anti-ligature hardware doorset with a master keyed cylinder with proper cam and have it all be compatible using different brands of hardware. 

ChatGPT has no access to standards databases so it will give the most busted answer that wont work in the real world. 

You can use it for many other things effectively. I never said that was not the case.
