Sports gives you something to talk to people about.  It is a bridge-builder socially.

Watching sports out of conformity:

Partisanship, wanting your team to win, chicken wings, team jerseys and merch, gossiping about players, turning it into politics.

Watching sports without conformity:

Select footage, pause and rewind it with a note pad in hand analyzing how the pros move to draw lessons, practice and apply it to the athleticism of normal human life and your specific needs.

When I look at good athletes moving, especially dancers, I want to cry. The biomechanical magic going on with some of them awes me.

IMAX technology.

Oppenheimer was the lamest 3 hours I’ve ever got to be stuck in. No amount of 4000$/second film bs is gonna save a bad movie.

They are all overrated.

Prestige is the only outlier I'd say. The rest is so overrated. its pretty much a mass hypnosis at this point.

That movie is actually so fucking good.

On the same topic, both wokies saying the Odyssey is a 10/10 and magatards boycotting the Odyssey because of the casting are both conformist.

@Leo Gura @Vynce nuh uh, his films are great. glued to the screen for 3 hours.

I find them to be technically excellent but otherwise disappointing.

There is no film of his I would watch twice, to the point where I am not even excited to watch it once.

There is nothing in the Odessey or Oppenhiemer that I am interested in seeing. The actors, the story, it's all so generic.

Do I want to see Matt Damon? Nope. He is as interesting as white toast.

Oppenheimer was like watching dust dry.

I was expecting the Odyssey to be like Troy, then boom, sheep😉, cinema ecstacy🤯.

What movies would you regard has good if Oppenheimer and Oddesey is so bad? I feel like you guys are hating js to hate smh.

The technically great aspects is what makes the experience amazing. Like yes I agree, the story is generic, but the way it is shown makes all the difference, watching in the theatre is such a thrill. He always uses this technique where he reveals the story somewhat unchronologically, which is great because the more your into the film the more you can appreciate the story, and if your more in the beginning of the film your so focused on figuring out whats going on that its a thrill of its own.

Interstellar and Inception are super overrated, not bad movies but just overrated. Oppenheimer was ok but still too hyped. The Prestige is amazing, still one of my favorites movies ever.

I disagree exclusively because of the Dark Knight.

Sometimes I come across this thread and I really didn't want to say it but I'm surprised by the stupidity of this thread. It is totally pointless.

Because conformity on one stage is progressive for another stage... to infinity.

So there is no point in making such a list because what is conformity is just a vantage point.

If one wants to make a thread like this it is better to focus on the structure of conformity rather than the content of it.

The point of the thread is to wake people up to conformity, not to make a shopping list. The best thing to happen to someone is to read this list, get triggered because they find something from here that they do, and in some rare cases make them realize later that actually that was conformity. If you don't get triggered, then it probably means that you are not doing it solely out of conformity. I agree that this list is stupid if you take it too seriously.

Oppenheimer is bloody boring from beginning to end.
It was torture for me to watch the movie.
It was one talking scene after another.

the Odyssey has boring talking scenes but  it just fits well with the overall narrative.
I feel immersed, the storytelling was just amazing. I thought it was
going to be like Troy, but after the cave scene, I was hooked from start to finish.
