The site is designed from the ground up for conformity. It's impossible to stray too far from the ideological center point without being censored. It varies how sever an echo-chamber each subreddit is though.

Your body is constantly conforming to nature's course. Even to keep the body temperature as it is requires a lot of conforming. Without this constant conformity the body wouldn't last long. 

As long as something is pro life, it's good to conform to it imo.

Conformity is about doing something or adhering to some standard without being aware of why you do it and whether it's BS or not, not about the function of something.

It's understandable why you want to use the word conforming because your body has to adhere to the rules of an external system.

Sure we all know the standard definition and most people are blindly regurgitating what culture has told them conformity is and as we know every word culture has ever taught us is completely corrupt a bone.

One common act of conformity that I do is going to a hookah bar that my best friend loves going to, but I absolutely despise going to. All for the sake of spending time with him from time to time because I enjoy his company. He hates going to new places (and often times he can't due to his poor health), whereas I crave exploration and going to new locations. I adhere to his wish to go there mostly for his sake, and even though I would consider it "selfless" on my part to go there every single time, it is ultimately me conforming to his wishes. This one would be "conscious conformity" because I consciously choose to go here for his sake.

Another one is subconsciously speaking in a polite and gentle tone to customers instead of speaking more openly without any worries, because it would look "unprofessional". This is what I would consider "subconscious conformity," since I try to keep up appearances and be a "professional representative" at my job to build a solid reputation.

Then I had a phase where I constantly used  ":3" because I copied it from people I used to talk to in order to fit into that group. Severely cringe childhood moments. This one was purely unconscious and it seemed totally normal to just go along with the herd.
