Conformity is when you do or want a thing because of secondary, usually hidden at first glance reasons. The difficulty is in becoming clear (conscious) in what you really want out of love and inspiration AND being able to live like you want. Otherwise you get confused about your reasons and end up acting out of conformity / because everyone does it / it feels like you're belonging and fitting in which feels good / you're ashamed because you've been taught to do what the robots do / you feel like it is necessary / lack of creativity to think out of the box / thinking others know better than you / thinking YOU know better than others and being a conformist rebel / thinking you're being cool...

Yep the stones. I would argue it is one of the TOP conformist behaviours from women that has a huge effect on the economy, earth and puts needless pressure on men to conform in the process... It's like conformity on steroids!

Almost everything humans do is conformism. We don't even know who we are. We ask others. 

Another one: nice guy conformity. Trying to look polite and "perfect". And this is a contributor to the loneliness epidemic. We show a curated, fake version of ourselves in front of new people we meet. That makes it very hard to make new friends. Especially guys, because they are so afraid to not get ghosted and canceled.

The work is to make your conformity conscious and contingent.

I observe the speed limit in order that you do so too. It's for the greater good. I am safe driving faster but I conform for your sake.

Conformity is contingent too. I decide where I conform. If I feel strongly enough I will move overseas to where more lax rules apply.
