Is socialization the key to have a romantic relationship?

Leo said, that if you use online dating you are lazy. Must agree there. Face to face is much better, but also will be a challange so you can grow your social skills.

Also it rather difficult to read human body language through discord.

Flip it around. I’m good in real life. I’ve been out enough to know most people are boring to me and don’t match my vibe at all. I have full social skills and charisma. How do you think I got kissed by models with zero effort? Sure, I’m probably attractive to certain girls, but that just proves the point. It’s shallow.

My closest connections online happened because I judged people by their values and how they think. That creates relationships that aren’t shallow at all. Seeing someone face to face blinds you instantly. You get pulled toward the most surface-level traits, both theirs and mine.

It’s not that I don’t value physical presence. It’s just that meeting someone through their soul and their values first is a higher form of connection. Physical first is lower consciousness. Soul first is truly higher consciousness.

But overall maybe you shall not look for love, just be open to it.

Some people want sex, fine, but you won't find love if you're looking for sex.

@Schizophonia Off topic. Bro you look like an Italian gangster from the 50's in the new profile photo. You look like a G.

Nothing, but nothing will prevent Willy!

Thanks you.

Bluesky is gay but you still look badass too. 👍

There's gotta be a more customized way to go about this rather than go to some fuckin clubs and try to do some fucken small talk or perform rizz, the way socialization works nowadays is completely fucked imo. It doesn't help how disguisting all of these places are

All party places are such a nasty peasant places to be in. Can't believe most people don't care but they really don't. LoL

Just go to a wine bar then bro.

A combo of the two love +sex = the ultimate ruin.

Why not both ?

Sure, thats fair.

Some people might just want to have casual sex and other people want to find love. We all have different goals in dating.

I know lot of people who find love on discord.

you guys have peasant dark age game.

how would you go out find your type, if you go in place that aren't your thing.

geography is the best way to fail at finding a good relationship.

value >>> all

if you want love, you'll never ever find it in your area, maybe even in your country.

I agree to an extent.

I did not find love on Discord, but on Reddit, I connected with someone who changed my entire life for the better. This was years ago, but they are incredible. I was in a very dark place, and they basically guided me towards developing a mind-body connection. I don't even use Reddit. That was a one-off situation. I just had to be open to it.

It doesn't seem like where you find your connections matters. It's about what the connection is. Who they are. Who you are.

It doesn't need to be black and white, but meeting online does feel a bit different. At the same time, you can still find love there. It might just be different than how it usually goes.

That's what I feel, at least, through my own personal experience.

Where you are wrong is the last thing you said. If you think about it, you can find real love everywhere. It's not limited. It goes against your Discord argument to deny this.

It's not "online is bad" or "online is better". It's situational, but generally, meeting someone in person is more satisfying. To me, at least. Not to discredit Discord or anywhere else.

It is far easier to trick someone, than to convince them they have been tricked.

Online is fine if it actually works for you. But it probably doesn't.

The quality you get online will be much lower than in-person.

If what you want it one serious partner, then you do the math.

If you were going to eat one meal, would you shop at Dollar Store or Whole Foods?

It is still important to be able to talk but when people can't hear, the why (you say it) and the how (you say it) gets more important than what you say.

When you are talking to a real baby, what you say is not so important but how and why you say it is more important because the kid will understand if you do it from a loving place or not.

In the nightclub the same dynamic is at play. It is better to say gibberish as long as you aren't a total fool or insulting but from a "heartful" place and people will respond better to that and you will make real connection instead going the rout of trying to fit in which won't work because women don't want to be babysitters, they want to be sat. Nightclubs are like sandboxes where you can try out these kind of stuff.

Makes sense
