John is very tall. He's at least 6'4". He makes me look short. He is the tallest guy in the club. He has a masculine look. So it is attractive. He's also very pushy.

The thing I never liked about his game is that it was all based on alcohol to build state and verbals. He doesn't teach the techniques of sober verbal game, how to be funny, etc.

The constant alcohol was ruining his health and it was not sustainable, but guys like John do not care about things like sustianability. They are opportunists. They mine a thing until it burns to the ground. Which is what John did with RSD, then with the entire city of Vegas, and now with YouTube.

I can only imagine how toxic his relationships are. It is not something to aspire to. You will ruin your life this way.

John treats YouTube the way he treats women and male clients. How you do one thing is how you do everything.

A controversial take based on my experience: 

Pro: 

• His course (Occam's Razor, specifically) is better than majority of RSD PUA courses. It's logical and pragmatic and doesn't give fluff. 
• His layout could be a lie, however: John Anthony is a sex addict and built his entire lifestyle around sex. His lay count is high, regardless. 
• John is not a creep, but very controversial and sociopathic. No offense: Majority of guys here are creeps by the simple fact that you are talking about woman rather than getting laid. Getting laid = anti-creep. 
• There is a part of him that is very scientific and fact-based (he's hardcore objective despite the ego-issues). 
• His advice is very helpful and he's one of reasons I've taken TRT and learned about Maca root (libido). His dating advice is easy to follow and far better than people give him credit for. The reason for his: no one here bothered to even try his course and judging soley based on his ego. As mentioned above: he's very scientific and objective. His Occam's razor course, for example, is not bashing RSD and purely result-driven. 
• very controversial: some of his critique of other PUA coaches are more objective than what he's given credit for. He has better advice than a vast majority of YT PUA coaches than what he's given credit for. 

Justification if we assume 1k laycount is real: 

• If we assume he achieved such laycount: it would have came from online dating and being a sex addict: John had multiple phones and Tinder accounts (as well as other dating apps) and spent thousands on boosts and advertisements, professional photography and treated online dating as a job/marketing tool due to his sex addiction. Once dating app impressions fatigued in one state, he would travel elsewhere. Example: John most likely had over 100 Tinder accounts with a avg spend of at least 1k each per account across several years: that's $500-1.6k per month on Tinder alone. We are talking about an extreme sex addict that would do anything to get laid: it's similar to a extreme gambling addiction. He treats dating/sex like a marketing funnel (lead magnet, follow up chains and lead tracking) - he has no emotional intelligence and willing to do anything for high-volume game. 
   

Note: Most likely, it's heavily exaggerated, but it's still very high. 

Cons: 

• Very egotistical: he's popular trashing RSD and built his base doing so, especially when it comes to RSD Tyler. If he didn't have such a high ego, he would be a very good coach. 
• He used to be a heavy alcoholic: there is videos of him being drunk and weird on the streets. 
• He used to back controversial characters, such as Andrew Tate before going against him. This was his new RSD Tyler. 
• He goes against anyone that critiques him and willing to go against his friends for simply associating with other dating coaches he disagrees with. He's done this with a friend that did Tinder dating strategies. 
• I've never bought his new course, but they are very deceptive (AI photography) and portrays high-value for online dating. But they do work. 
• Has Narcissism issues: he needs validation of his laycount and/or how good of a coach he is
• He's slowly becoming what he bashing RSD for: attracting high-volume of men to create a PUA cash cow. 
• Sex addict: his addiction is equivalent to gamblers who spends thousands on their addiction per month and willing to cashout their savings. He has built an entire lifestyle around sex and manipulating woman/online dating platforms. 

 

Final thoughts: A high-level sex addict with a scientific, objective and result-driven approach to game that gets countered by ego, anti-social behavior and narcissism. His Occam's Razor course is objective and result-driven, but his personality and ego is his downfall. He's turning into a self-loathing RSD cash cow, but still has game and golden nugget advice to listen to.

Certainly much of the technical aspects of game he talks about is sound and useful. I learned useful technique stuff from him.

With pickup, you have to get good at taking the raw techniques -- which are highly effective -- while ditching all the corrupt behavior surrounding it.

I think it's important to explore more deeply the logic you're operating off of.

Why would racking up numbers of sexual partners "earn" marriage... or the worthiness to marry?

Is it because you see women as possessing some magical power to validate, notarize, or give blessing your existence and worthiness through bestowing sex upon you? If so, that's a whole lot of power to project onto women that just doesn't exist there.

Do you see sex with women as something that will fix shame and self-worth issues?

Or is it something else?

Knowing the answer to that is the first step to unburdening yourself from pursuing what doesn't resonate with you.

Earlier in the thread someone was bashing Todd and praising John for saying to “treat her like you already slept with her”, ironic since I remember Todd specifically saying this in an old video before John even had a channel.

There is not much new in game. Everyone took ideas from others and naturals.

Owen stole the techniques of naturals who he mirrored like a monkey.

I talked to the natural who Owen stole techniques from. He was very upset at Owen for not crediting him.

"Hand of God" was one of those stolen technques.

Codifying what naturals do and saying that’s what you’re doing is not the same as lifting advice from other PUAs and claim if you made it up while bashing the PUA you stole it from.

Modeling the success of others is actually a intelligent and effective way to learn and requires skill when they often don’t know why they’re successful.

I heard he did that when he was younger but for most of the time I was following him he never bashed other teachers and regularly praised concepts from them, even ones he personally disliked like Neil, or says when he got it from someone else.
