Should be a good one. Have to be well rested for this one. You're sneaking them in, aren't you. Surprise, surprise. Miss seeing that lovely bald head and typing my infamous comment. 🥰

What you know leaves what you don't know and what you don't know is all there is.

Asked Claude the best timeless ways to raise consciousness

Here is it

Throughout history, various traditions and practices have consistently helped people expand their awareness and deepen their understanding of themselves and reality. Here are some of the most enduring approaches:

Contemplative Practices Meditation in its many forms - from mindfulness to contemplative prayer - has been used across cultures for millennia to quiet mental chatter and cultivate present-moment awareness.

Regular practice helps develop the ability to observe thoughts and emotions without being overwhelmed by them.

Self-Inquiry and Reflection The ancient practice of examining one's thoughts, motivations, and patterns through journaling, philosophical inquiry, or simply asking deep questions like "Who am I?" or "What is my purpose?" This includes regular examination of conscience and honest self-assessment.

Study of Wisdom Traditions Engaging with philosophical, spiritual, and psychological texts that explore the nature of consciousness, meaning, and human experience. This might include everything from Stoic philosophy to Buddhist texts to modern psychology.

Service to Others Acts of compassion and service naturally expand perspective beyond the self. This practice appears in virtually every wisdom tradition as a way to develop empathy and recognize interconnectedness.

Time in Nature Spending time in natural settings has consistently helped humans gain perspective, reduce ego-driven thinking, and feel connected to something larger than themselves.

Creative Expression Art, music, writing, and other creative pursuits can access deeper levels of consciousness and provide insights that purely rational thinking cannot reach.

Mindful Living Bringing conscious attention to daily activities - eating, walking, working - rather than operating on autopilot. This includes practicing gratitude and cultivating awareness of the present moment.

Disciplined Study Whether through formal education or self-directed learning, expanding knowledge about the world, human nature, and different ways of thinking broadens perspective and understanding.

Community and Meaningful Relationships Deep, honest relationships with others provide mirrors for self-understanding and opportunities to practice compassion, forgiveness, and authentic communication.

Physical Practices Movement, breathwork, and body awareness practices help integrate mind and body, often leading to insights that purely mental approaches cannot provide.

The key is consistency and sincerity in whatever practices resonate most deeply with you, rather than trying to do everything at once.

Psychedelics are a great way. I prefer the route of meditation and retreats. Sure it would be slower, but I trust myself when I am not taking any chemicals.

Happy to engage with this video today as I'm an avid yoga asana and meditation practitioner and was just recently around arrogant Kundalini yoga practitioners - a very uncomfortable experience.

I only got more present and conscious with two psychedelics I have taken than with non-stop meditation.

When taking those psychedelics, deconstruction of reality gets deep really fast compared to when I'm in a meditative state.

Furthermore, after the psychedelic experiences, I became more amazed at how things could ever exist. Like, I am fascinated by the direct experience of objects around me.

I have to do weeks of meditation to even achieve less than what psychedelics offer in minutes.
