I thought of that, but I don't think Trump would risk this amount of reputation damage when there are other viable paths for market manipulation. Not impossible, but seems unlikely. 

It was reported 7 hours ago that Tesla lost 152 billion in market cap after Trump responded to something Elon said. Hours later, Musk is dropping the Epstein bomb.
