@Leo Gura On the opposite end, if we have tons of diverse AI agents at our disposal, incredible polymaths, imagine what we can actualize and create in the world with our vision, good taste, good judgement, utilizing all these agents? 

And even if there was an AI that could replace the visionary, so what? There's always room in the world to create amazing world-class products. 

For those who care about building amazing things, I don't see how AI would be a bad thing.

If you mean humans will loss any interest in doing anything because they have god mode, I disagree because this is not the same as a video game because this is an infinite game. We will live in a world of endless discovery, I could just go off and discover forever in some Direction.

The first thing im making is nano machines to give me perfect state,

But If you mean a handful of people will rule the world in an AI apocalypse for the next 2,000 years then, I agree that's pretty bad, and we have to solve the corruption problem.

Also, sometimes I get the impression you think of mental illness in a derogatory sense such as when using the word 'crazies'. Why? Arent the 'crazies' precisesily the outcasts we should value?

Same here. the topic of free will fucked me up, and all I cared was to find truth. No girls, no interest in school no interest in nothing. Seriously everything was erased in my life except trying to understand truth about free will. Most motivated I've ever been for anything. 

But it hurt. It was painful. It was super painful. I wanted to know the answer so much it hurt and nothing else mattered.

Does it have to be painful?

I can't tell everyone who's crazy. They have to be quite seriously crazy to see it in their posts.

I don't mean all people with mental illness are crazies, but I've had my share of dangerous encounters with mentally unhinged people.

A crazy can kill you if one isn't careful. This doesn't apply to most mentally ill people. But still one must be careful because there are plenty of twisted toxic people on the internets.

No, there isn't. Not in the scenario I gave you.

There is no room for you to create anything if AI does it 10x better than you while you sleep.

Is there room for chimpanzees in university? Only as lab animals.

@Leo Gura But then you're claiming supply and demand graphs will never have any gaps, or if they do they'd immediately get filled by AI? I'm not sure if you're being hypothetical or posing this as a serious possibility? 

But also by that logic isn't your job also gone then? 

And if that really is the case, then how will any of us physically survive, or have a life well-built that survives? I don't think I want to rely on the government for UBI. I mean sure I'll take it but I wouldn't want to rely on that.

Well, thats Good. But there aré like 99 % Crazos of whom only 1% aré seriously dangerous so maybe there aré More of the 99% on your audicence.

Claude 4 opus has nearly solved codding, its so good i dont write any code anymore, 0.

This week I easily did 2 months worth of work.

Writing code is dead. But you still need to have expertise to build stuff for now.

solutions:

1. Buying land and growing/raising my own food.
2. Move to the country that SOLVED UBI the moment things start to get bad. maybe (Sweden, Denmark).
3. Build a scalable solution that decentralizes AI for the masses.

I understand but the problem I think is we don't need general intelligence to reach 30%-95% unemployment.

Claude code has tool use so it runs for very long time using multiple tools and taking multiple actions across multiple files, searching the Internet, coming back and so on, it is exactly what a human would do. If there's a bug it automatically notices it, debugs it on its own, writes the code that fixes it, it does that in a loop. Everything is the way I would do it.

It's gonna scale to the point where it could control the whole computer including browsers and be able to take multiple actions in sequence. And it's gonna easily get to human level within the next two years.

Claude Opus 4 was released two weeks, and it was a huge leap forward for programming.

I can only explain this to a certain point, you have to see it to believe it, it's so good that it's basically general intelligence, I think if you showed this to a random person they wouldn't know the difference.
