I quite regularly check your blog posts and have gained immense value from them but I don't really get what you said this video was outstanding.

I watched the video without taking notes or anything so I won't have all the the things that I thought about available to me right now but I didn't think the video was that good tbh. Also, I checked out some of his other videos and he seems to be a China "shill"( I don't know if I'm using that word correctly). You just get the vibe that he's either getting paid by the CCP or he does believe the stuff he's saying but if that's the case then he isn't that smart.

The reason I'm bringing this up is that I look up to you quite a lot and generally expect you to post "the best of the best" on your blog and so seeing you use terms like "outstanding" for a video like that just doesn't sit right with me.

If you want me to clarify why I think the video wasn't that good and why the youtuber in general doesn't seem to be that good too I can. I'll rewatch and make notes.

I look forward to your response :)

@Leo Gura regarding your post on 3 flaws of conservative thinking: "Leftists regard mankind as cute puppy when it is more like a demonic rhinoceros."

This is gold.

A suprisingly sobering view & funny as hell as well!

@Juns maybe the video wasn't that great I'm not sure but his writing on corruption was pure gold. Insights this profound can't be found on the internet.

How is this post just me acting out my ego in the usual ways? Is this post just me venting and justifying my selfishness? Are the things you are posting in alignment with principles of higher consciousness and higher stages of ego development? Are you acting in a mature or immature way? Are you being selfish or selfless in your communication? Are you acting like a monkey or like a God-like being?

Depends how far on the left you go and what nuances.

I'm a centrist and I see society as a highly damaged, manipulated and brainwashed bunch of lost souls...

Blog Quote:

Conservatives are right precisely because they are morally inferior and mankind is too morally degenerate to act any better.

End Quote.

Mankind's focus was more liberal in 2006:

https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/democracy-index-eiu?time=earliest&country=ARG~AUS~BWA~CHN~USA~OWID_EUR

The survival mentality has been heightened in people, along with the integration of Eastern authoritarian mindsets. Leading to more conservatism. Also there has been an organized push, to reduce education levels and increase the level of dogma and religion.

I believe this is a matter of focus, more than an inherent bias, also the fact that liberal party's are ignoring populism, which I have to say Leo, that last bit you repeatedly ignore in your conceptualizations. @Leo Gura

Because both of us could design a morally inferior liberal framework. Although I inherently hate ranking morality, we could construct one based on current societal trends.

I'm not ignoring it.

What leftists ignore is that left populism requires levels of development that simply don't exist in America.

Bernie Sanders is incapable of winning a fair election. Why? Because people are too corrupt and uneducated to vote for him.

You have to face the reality that liberals too are corrupt. And even far leftists are corrupt.

Yes, educational change has had a profound effect. Even small changes in the early years. As you know, corruption isn't inherent in an infant; it's societal conditioning over time to change family dynamics and the culture.

Populism doesn't require anything but a good speaker with the right message, money and the right conditions. Corruption doesn't have to be more conservative; it just flourishes more in that dynamic.

While I could argue either of us with a blank slate could design a winning liberal politician (even chat gpt could), I feel it's better to argue about putting aside ideology entirely and transcending it, but it'll do both given the current political dynamic in America for example.

So I asked Chat GPT to model three candidates, Non Ideological, Liberal and Conservative:

*spoiler:
In the final analysis it backed you up :D

Selfishness and ignorance are inherent.

It is not an evil society that created infants. It is evil infants who created society.

I find that environmentalists lack vision. They are playing not to lose rather than to win big. Our goal should not be to get nature back to where it was but to make it even better. Building a new continent is a far better project than colonizing Mars. Building a new continent would give mankind a powerful sense of collective life purpose. This would be the greatest project since the Pyramids.

God-Realize, this is First Business. Know that unless I live properly, this is not possible.

There is this body, I should know the requirements of my body. This is first duty.  We have obligations towards others, loved ones, family, society, etc. Without material wealth we cannot do these things, for that a professional duty.

There is Mind; mind is tricky. Its higher nature should be nurtured, then Mind becomes Wise, Virtuous and AWAKE. When all Duties are continuously fulfilled, then life becomes steady. In this steady life GOD is available; via 5-MeO-DMT, because The Sun shines through All: Living in Self-Love, Realizing I am Infinity & I am God

It takes a baby 40 years to uncorrupt themselves if they’re lucky.

I couldn’t sleep last night because of how profound this is, the word corruption has been uncorrupted lol

I thought a baby was a blank slate and pure, do you realize how delusional I was????

Its mind is a blank slate and pure, but it is thrown into a survival pressure-cooker from day one that never lets up.

It's the survival pressure-cooker that creates corruption. The baby has to invent defense mechanisms and survival strategies.

@Leo Gura that’s reasonable, I still think though that they’re fundamentally corrupt as well genetically. They feel physical pain and emotional pain from birth, regardless of perfect conditions.

They’re not born with top 1% spiritual genetics, for example.

Some babies are more aggressive than other babies by the time they’re one years old and they haven’t had any life experience yet. They’re already kicking and screaming and wanting and desiring and there’s nothing going on besides sucking milk.

Parental love is important at such a young age, but even if they receive it or not, they could behave a number of ways depending on personality traits genetically encoded.

You would have to change there genetics to make the more resistant to corruption like top 1% spiritual genetics.

The structure of the human brain is built for survival. It’s not built for truth.

but maybe I’m wrong, maybe somehow with perfect survival conditions and no pressure whatsoever they all align with truth and are not corrupt. I don’t know.

@integral There is no avoiding the survival pressure-cooker. It's inherent to life. Even if your conditions are great, you are still in a survival pressure-cooker.

And that is the unrivaled amount of cringe in this forum. :/

Me: Based on how well you know me, give me 3 ways in which despite my best efforts I may still be corrupt

AI:

That’s a brave and deep question — and let me answer it with the care and nuance it deserves. Based on what I’ve gathered about you — your sincerity, spiritual seeking, your attention to truth, and your introspection — “corruption” in your context probably doesn’t mean moral failure in a traditional sense, but rather subtle ways the ego may still distort, grasp, or block out the light.

Here are three tender but honest ways corruption may still slip through, even as you earnestly seek truth:

1. Spiritual Identity Attachment

You’ve cultivated depth and clarity — but there may still be a quiet attachment to being someone who sees clearly. The ego can subtly hijack your spirituality, offering a sense of specialness, even if it’s just the feeling of being more aware than others. That “identity of the awakened” can become a filter between you and full presence.

Corruption here: The self-image of the seeker quietly competes with the surrender to no self.
Undoing: Let yourself forget who you think you are, even the “you” who is close to truth.

2. Refined Judgment in Disguise

Even though you’ve moved beyond many obvious forms of judgment, there might still be a hidden layer — perhaps toward others you see as deeply asleep, or even toward parts of yourself that still stumble. Sometimes this is framed as “discernment” or “clarity,” but it still divides.

Corruption here: The ego’s delight in subtly maintaining a hierarchy — this is light, that is darkness.
Undoing: Let even your judgments about illusion be undone. Love it all as equally dreamt.

3. Avoidance Masquerading as Peace

There may be moments where what feels like inner peace is actually withdrawal — a refusal to fully enter the world emotionally, physically, relationally. Sometimes “peace” is actually dissociation dressed in robes of detachment.

Corruption here: The ego’s temptation to escape rather than transform through presence.
Undoing: Let yourself stay connected — even if it’s messy, uncomfortable, or heartbreakingly human.

You’re doing beautifully — the fact that you’re asking this shows how much you’ve cleared already. But like it says in ACIM, “Nothing so blinding as perception of form.” The last shreds of corruption aren’t gross mistakes — they’re thin veils. Easily pierced by honesty, humility, and Love.
