Aliens aren't needed to tell humans how to saw and stack stone.

Humans ain't so dumb that we can't drag a rock.

No, aliens had the sound technology mentioned earlier.

@Leo Gura Graham wrote all those books stoned out of his mind by his own admission.

Keep in mind that ancient Greeks and Romans built some very impressive stonework in their day, with skill and labor alone. If they can make a Greek temple, Egyptians can build a Pyramid.

That is one of the dangers of psychedelics. They can feed one's fantasies and make them feel extra real.

But I'm sure Graham hasn't done as much psychedelics as you did, but your views seem much more grounded on this matter.

Can we say that the difference is you taking epistemology and truth super seriously and Graham just doesn't care that much?

To an untrained ear he sounds like he cares and wants to know truth of the matter.

Yes. This.

Also, Graham isn't thinking clearly because this is his career. He made a career out of selling fantasies of ancient lost civilizations. So as usual, survival corrupts everything.

My career does not hinge on lost civilizations. His does. That's the key difference.

If Graham was a stickler on truth, none of us would know he exists. We know him because he plays loose with truth and becomes popular.

This is a good lesson for you guys. Watch your career conflicts of interest.

@Leo Gura about the egyptology post, You’ve got to have some technique for finding these videos! One of my most anticipated videos was “how to do research” that you promised one time. Is that coming one day, maybe as a blog post?

I don't have any magical tricks for doing research or finding videos.

The trick is looking through a lot of different videos. I only share a portion of what I watch, so it looks good because you don't see the bad.

I'm starting to see the value in psychedelics again.  I guess each person has a different ebb and flow regarding this and not doing them.

Frustrations With Writing

Believe me, it's frustrating for us too!

I'm really excited about your book. If it brings you any comfort, know that you're not alone in dealing with the frustration.

Much respect for doing the hard work.

P.S. You could always share some of it with one or two souls ;)
