I’m in tears. The amount of pain I have had to go through since doing Leo’s work seriously (from 2020 onwards), and from facing so much of my own self-deceptions, lies, devilry, manipulation, selfishness. Facing how much pain and hurt I’ve caused in others. In people I loved and held dear.

It’s been absolutely devastating. I don’t know if there is a word to describe the pain. And it is still going on. I don’t know if it ever even stops. Every year the quality of the pain deepens.

Not only that. My mind is wired to be a people person. I can see how people will get themselves in so much pain because of their unconsciousness and lack of this work. I can meet a girl romantically, be safe for her to be vulnerable to the point she open up to me — and me being vulnerable to her — her crying in my arms.. then leaves me for an unsafe, exciting fuckboy.

I can see (and feel) how much pain that will cause her. How badly she will be used and dumped, how worthless she will feel, and how badly she will be hurt.

All that makes me feel extremely sad for her. And she is just one of many.

And finally, the loneliness this work creates is.. agonizing. Deep.. existencial, pain. I want great people around me. I am the total opposite of an introvert..

Nonetheless, all this deep pain is worth it. It is what is True. It is what will eventually take humanity to a better place.

Thank you Leo for the work you do. Without it, I would still be a full-blown spiritual devil. I would probably just have doubled and tripled down on it throughout the years.

Then don't encourage it and call it out when you see it. Sometimes this might require a direct confrontation with people in here, otherwise the point won't land. I guess the main issue is being able to see it occurring in the first place, which for you might be harder to do, because this is your place.

I don't know enough about their organizations to make that claim.

Perhaps they are, perhaps you are being too sloppy with your use of that word.

Just because someone runs a spiritual community does not make it a cult. They need to be doing some kind of manipulative mind control on top of it to exploit their followers. I don't know to what extent Teal, Aaron, or Mooji do that.

Benhito certainly seems problematic and exploitative with his fans. I strongly dislike that. Charging your fans enormous amounts of money is a huge no-no. So is keeping multiple girlfriends and framing sex with them as spiritual healing. That is plain corruption.

But regardless, Actualized.org is not like any spiritual community. I have no organization, I have no staff, I don't exploit you guys, and I don't control any one.

Insinuating that this is a cult is kinda silly.

Probably the majority of people here have never sent him any money.

And even less have actually met him.

There's a whole free youtube library for people to educate themselves, which includes epistemology.

And people get to ask clarifying questions on an online forum.

This literally sounds like all precautions were taken not to create a cult, 

Some people are always going to misuse information.

One of the most eye opening realisations I had about how truly science works is undergoing the process to get published in the Institution of Engineering and Technology. 

Science stops being this glamorous champion of truth and it's seen as any other company, with self-interests, money and reputation hungry, and ass tight about the way you should do science to get published, both in format and content.

My colleagues at that time where quite critique about the system, the older the researcher the more skeptical, when the youngsters asked how could it be made better, they answered we've tried and contemplated how to improve the system, but for now it's the best we can do given the conditions of science and economy.

If anything, it's sad that many brilliant mind get trapped like rats in maze of breadcrumbs.

Any large group project that involves resources and people working together is gonna be messy , especially if millions are supposed to work together to figure out things about the world on a global scale.

You will never find a scientist who can start from scratch and figure out everything from 1st principles on their own, becasuse people dont have the time and the money to validate every single past experiment and research question on their own and they also lack the cognitive capacity to do so.

Now go ahead and  propose a system that will afford millions of researchers and scientists to work together on a global scale in a way where they will have the necessary funding and tools to do their experiments without getting cultural and political distortions involved.

Also propose a better system where each droplet of research that is provided by other researchers can be handled and validated better by other researchers without needing to force an impossible task on every single researcher - namely, to validate every single  past and present droplet of research.
