You can make a career out of modeling seeking truth for others that they will pay you for.  But then they have to do the unpaid work to seek truth for themselves.  Analogously, you can buy a Van Halen album which models EVH's guitar style if you want to learn how to play guitar, but nobody is going to pay you to practice guitar and develop your own guitar style.

I think it will be very hard to find clients who want the raw truth. But you can show them the truth in a gradual manner, skillfully. And if you do it right they might appreciate it and continue. You pay your therapist the show you the truth, but in a gentle way. When pain is bigger than accepting the truth, you will happily pay someone to get you out of that pain. But Leo is right in some way. Even in that situation, you pay for the truth because you want to escape pain- -->  Survival.

I need to rebuke the recent blog about Cuba's socialism.

You guys pay me because I charge you, but that is not you paying me to find truth, I find truth on my own and then perhaps find ways of selling bits of it. If I wasn't crazy about truth your payments to me wouldn't lead me to it.

This forum is one of the few places where we engage in controversial topics like truth and survival. Most online and public forums would shut this stuff down a long time ago-way too threatening.

I’m seeing a trend of discussions getting more and more serious in the subject of Truth, which is good.

I think Vernon Howard has a quote that goes something like this:

"The first thing to do when pursuing the truth is to notice and admit to yourself that you don't give a hoot about it." (Paraphrased)

Also, just because a person, group, or practice claims truth as its goal doesn't mean that's actually the goal. More often than not, it amounts to some kind of fantasy or worldview validation - like psychedelic drugs, religion, Jehovah's Witnesses, Buddhism, philosophy, psychology, or any other conceptual structure that supposedly aims at uncovering what is true about existence.

I think humans first and foremost seek well being. It just happens to be that living a lie can hurt so it can make it seem they’re seeking truth. 
 

If you found out enlightenment would cause you hell, would you still pursue it? I think a big factor in the motivation of this pursuit of “truth” is because you think it’s gonna make you happier.

Nothing wrong with that. Maybe it happens to be that truth does make you happier (if enlightenment is like som say). In a way that’s good news for us because then we can fulfill that need for well being while at the same time feeling like we’re pursuing the highest thing

@Leo Gura Hi Leo! I was rewatching your video about Andrew Tate, at one point your promised that in the future you will do a video where you explain how to assess human character, how to assess whether someone has good character or bad/dangerous character, you went on saying that if oneself is unable to assess character one may have their life destroyed by low integrity/sociopathic characters.

If you ever do that video, that video will be my favourite video of all time. 

Or maybe you already done that video, is it how to distinguish between lower vs higher perspectives?

Thanks a lot! I asked mainly because I was confused whether the lower vs higher perspectives video was in fact the video about assessing human character hence in that video you analyze and compare lower vs higher perspectives and I thought that video could also translate to assessing lower vs higher human character. 

Honestly, after watching hundreds of hours of your videos I already know how to assess human character, I connected all the dots from your videos and blog posts, honestly watching your 24 hours long spiral dynamics series coupled with the 10 hour long ego development videos are a pretty good fundation for me to identify bad vs good character. 

Because I followed your work for so long, I can assess someones character just by talking to that person for a few minutes. For me, the biggest red flag that someone has bad and dangerous character is if he is telling me conspiracy theories about Soros, about the globalists and about how the jews run the world. The moment I hear someone say such things I know that I should run to the hills away from that person and never conduct any kind of business or personal friendship with that person ever again. You never directly thought me that, but I connected so many dots from your work in my head that that is a conclusion I arrived at via my own sense making. 

I am very eager to see the video where you teach how to assess human character. That will be my favourite video of all time for sure.

Delivering truth, disillusionment, dry facts, is the easiest way to fuck up your survival. You will get less sex, less friends, less money, less respect.

Very popular teachers who deliver truths, eg Tolle, deliver it in meticulously packaged ways so it does not attack the ego too much and even then it is received only by a niche of open-minded people. Received does not mean necessarily embodied and applied.

Eckhart says that there is no such thing as time. Do you think his followers contemplated the significance of that??? Nope, they are just like: yeaaa cool, spiritual shit.
