  1. If neti-neti is duality, which it obviously is, since oneness cannot say "not this" about itself, then why is it taught in nonduality? One possibility is that the original teachers of neti-neti used it to see which disciples were just parroting and aping the masters. If someone promoted neti-neti then that was a clear sign that the student was just imitating the masters since that's a duality teaching pretending to be nonduality, not actual nonduality teaching.
  2. To me he seems like a hybrid of personal development and nonduality. I don’t resonate with him, yet I can see how others would. It’s nice to see a diversity of people exploring spirituality.
  3. If you are channeling that through direct experience, you are accessing some high level mystical states. I spent 20 years meditating and didn't come close to the mysticism you are describing. The chemical combinations you are taking may be revealing natural abilities and granting access. For me, psychedelics increase my resonance and revealed paranormal abilities. Yet then we return to our baseline conscious level and try to "make sense" of the paranormal phenomena. This can be weird and scary to people that have no clue about the paranormal and mysticism. They may portray images that this is "abnormal", and you are "abnormal" and need to get "fixed". I'm not a psychiatrist, yet to me it seems like you have special abilities that seem odd and scary to others. Part of the mental instability may be due from others trying to alter your true nature. Imagine you had an opportunity to go on a retreat in Peru and spend a month with the highest level shaman's. You would be seen and accepted as a young man with abilities and you would have the opportunity to develop those abilities. You would be completely accepted in the community and everyone there would understand the mystical nature of your channeling. You would be a young mystic that gets to develop your natural abilities. Would something like that be appealing to you?. . . Since you keep returning to chemicals and mystical states, my hunch is that this would seem appealing to you. The states you seem to be accessing are higher than any verbal messages I can send to you. Realize that those states are one of the greatest teachers you can find. Be careful when giving authority to others, since you have access to higher authority. I have some mid-range paranormal abilities - here are a few things I've learned and suggestions. If they resonate with you great, if not - also great. Trust your intuition. 1. Psychedelics and weed can rocket consciousness up levels and amplify paranormal abilities. For example, psychedelics have amplified an empathic ability I have to full-on hyper-empathic master. When returning to baseline consciousness, this can be extremely unsettling. I don't know how to make sense of it, whether it is real, or whether I'm going crazy. I've had empathic communication with trees. This isn't the type of thing I can tell most people. They won't understand and will think I'm crazy. At first, I thought I was crazy. With time, I realized it's not crazy at all. I am not a psychiatrist and cannot diagnose you, yet it could be that some of what is being called "crazy" may actually be paranormal abilities. 2. I've learned to be careful who I share what with. I have found people that understand. For example, Reiki masters often "get" what I'm saying. As well, I've met a couple strong empaths online that have helped me work with these appearances and develop them. Yet I would not tell my family about it. I can only give a few hints like "I have a strong imagination". Or I may talk about lucid dreaming. They can handle that surface stuff. Yet they cannot handle the deeper stuff. So you might want to be careful about how much you share with others. To you, this channeling may seem like awesome insights - yet you have no idea how far away most people are from accessing and understanding this. You may want to find people in your community or online that have paranormal abilities. . . Yet be careful of charlatons that are fakers and would mislead or take advantage of you. And this is an important part: you know who the mystics and paranormals are if you are one. There is a "knowing" you can access, just like you "know" if someone can speak English because you are fluent in English. . . If someone tells me they have extra-sensory empathic abilities, I can tell immediately if the empathic resonance is there because I am on that frequency. If someone tells me they can see Auras, I cannot tell because I'm not on that frequency - yet there is still a connection since we both have paranormal abilities and we can freely share together. 3. The weed and psychedelics may be elevating your consciousness and amplifying your abilities. This can be good, yet I would be careful of downsides. Psychedelics can elevate a person from a stage 1 mystic apprentice to a stage 9 mystic master. This may take years of work without psychedelics, yet can be reached in a matter of hours with psychedelics. This can create an unstable dynamic - if you rocket up to stage 9 mysticism and return to stage 1 grounding - it can be unstable. I would consider investing in integration and development without the psychedelics. For me this kinda sucked. I was like a stage 9 magician with psychedelics and trying to develop the skills at my baseline consciousness. Perhaps see if you can access some of these states without psychedelics / weed or with a very low dose. You might only get 40% there, yet I found this really important. As well, you might want to read up online about mysticism or meet some people with paranormal abilities. Be mindful of how you resonate with them. If you have abilities, you already know - you just forgot. I would also be mindful of who you share this with. I would share it with people who "get it". 4. If possible, I would consider getting some distance from family and get into a new environment temporarily. Perhaps take a weekend trip away from it all. Perhaps in nature away from the negative energy. Even a day long retreat. Perhaps there is a day long yoga/mediation retreat in your area and you could tell parents that you just want to relax your mind for a day. At a day long yoga/mediation retreat, there will likely be people/teachers that have some spiritual/paranormal abilities. They would be much more open to discussing things like energetic flows and nonduality.
  4. Personal attack really....Anna here is what you said: What your preaching is very neo-advaita, and its not helpful. Everything I'm saying can be summed up very quickly and easily: 1) There's no separate ME character inside the body that is an illusion.( nonduality) 2) Practices are not required to have this recognition and in fact they often perpetuate the belief of the illusory self because one is trying to Enlighten the illusion. If this is neo-advaita then so be it. This message is from personal experience of becoming liberated from the egoic self agenda. Ps... My spiritual ego only puffs up when I'm drinking red wine lol.
  5. Watched whole thing in 1 day. Radicals are shown as evil in this show. Show itself is propaganda of both liberal and traditionalist values. Weird enough, liberalism and traditionalism are counter-excluding forces. yet Messiah is both propaganda of gay love and conservative morals. how can that be? only on netflix. While only good force of existence (radicals) are shown as evil. Everything is upside down in our reality. There are only three political clubs today: Liberals, Traditionalists, Radicals. Liberal's ideology is bodily comfort. Traditionalist's ideology is idea of good, nonduality, pantheism. And Radical's ideology is justice, opposing tyranny of reality, fixing error of reality. How did this show knew about 3 clubs? They showed all 3 clubs. But in wrong way of course. But at least they showed it. Good enough. But what does messiah meant by saying that God wants flood. Im interested to know the answer.
  6. I want to make important note: difference between Pantheism/Monism/Nonduality vs Abrahamic Monotheism is not only in understanding that Creator and creation are separate and non-identical. And not only in understanding that anything beyond Abrahamic religions is not Abrahamic Monotheism, therefore don't represent God's scriptures. But also in different understanding of CONSCIOUSNESS. In first path (Pantheism/Monism/Nonduality/Not-Abrahamic monotheism) consciousness and Being are two sides of the same coin, Object=Subject etc. You know it, you've probably read a lot about it up till this moment. In second path (pure Abrahamic monotheism), consciousness and Being are two opposites, two different things, two counter-excluding things. In scripture we receive knowledge that consciousness or witness is different from Being, that witness is like a divine spark which is not-identical to.. total all, to total everything. While Being is total everything. And also, Being is what's called Satan. Reality is effect of when Being and Consciousness opposes each other. 1 path - to dissolve into Being, just to be, just isness. 2 path - to oppose Being on all levels, to be on the side of consciousness and against Being. From absolute to society, to your actual existence. Scripture (Quran) is the system of opposition to Being. Being's only and only task and purpose is to suppress consciousness. Is to make consciousness part of its own. Is to falsify it into idea that consciousness is everything. Its all a grand illusion of enlightenment. You see. But consciousness is not-equal to absolutely everything. We have CONSCIOUSNESS VS EVERYTHING on our level. And then GOD VS ABSOLUTE INFINITY on transcendent level. Consciousness is a dot of non-identicalness. It is not identical to absolutely anything. God is Transcendent to Immanent Being. But he sends his light into this Immanent Being, in the form of consciousness. And consciousness can only recognise itself in language, in discourse.
  7. Quran is very discomforting and paradoxical text. Thats why many run away from it. It goes against all human odds, against our anticipations and gnostic hopes. Its not based on the good/evil dichotomy, not based on traditional idea of positive morals, not based on Platonic Idea of Good. Where God = Good = Being. Not based on SatChitAnanda. No, Quran is a political text, good is what God allowed for you, and bad is what God forbid for you. Not according to your natural logic, but according to Forbidden/Allowed categories, that is sharia, shariah is forbidden/allowed. It is the only tool to emancipate yourself from the archetype/from rock. Because what is the alternative? There is none. Islam is that alternative. Christianity lost its adequacy long time ago thanks to priests. People run away from direct speech of the only True God who is not the god that 99% on this forum is talking about. Allah is opposite to Absolutely Everything. Absolute infinity is the veil of Allah. And not Allah himself. We can say that absence of Allah is the core of evil, and is the absolute evil. He is the absent one, Surah Al-Ikhlas - Say: He, Allah - He means Absent one. 'He' is the pointer to someone who is absent here and now. We are called to put Him who is absent one in the centre of our spiritual attention and focus. That is partly what meant by believe in Allah. How can we do that? Through his names. We are interested in putting his names-concepts (Giving, Merciful, Graceful, Great, Forcing, Powerful) into the centre of spiritual focus, attention. That alone can lead to correct awakening. Correct providential awakening. Where you don't disappear, die etc. etc. etc. None of what has been taught to you, but it is correct awakening, which will make you into a tool of providential plan. What does it mean to be tool of providence? It means that you won't be reaping good from it, you won't be one who gains something from it, like positive result, but instead you will be passionary, you will be passionate about that, it requires your will. Your passion is KAMA or HUBB (muhabbat). It is Will to Self-sacrifice, will to power, and will to death. Three of the same coin. What's death? Death is when awareness (hole in your heart) will meet HIM who made this hole. It is meeting. To be tool is also to re-establish correct thinking, which will reflect providential plan, you need to reflect plan in your thinking, its your main obligation. Quran is truth, I swear to you. But don't read it in traditional islamic confessional way. And don't read it in some wishy-washy highly esoteric way, don't read it in pantheistic or in monistic or in non dual way. Don't read it from perspective of love, good and other bhakti sense. Mind, its high metaphysics, high cold rational metaphysics which has tasks, strategy, goals. Its goal is to overcome absolute infinity. On human level it is to overcome great inertia of our existence. And pain. Quran brings pain. But also it has attraction. It is attractive. Maybe it is quintessence of Will to Self-Sacrifice which is also equal to Will to Suffer. Desire to Suffer is Spirit's desire. But be higher than that, our task is Political Islam. Not spirituality really! Not spirituality. Not mysticism. Spiritual will here is serving Political Agenda of God. Our task is Political Domination. Real political results. All this is not for spirituality, but to accomplish main task - alternative world government which will be government of Political Islam. It will be government which will oppose main world government - traditionalists (unknown awakened gurus + Royal families + priests like pope, lama, ayatolla). Liberal ideology won't survive long now. Traditionalists will change them and will establish tyrannical world order. Then Political Islam will fight against this injustice and tyranny of traditionalists whose doctrine is solely based on the Pantheism/Monism/Nonduality/Infinity. Their doctrine will be called Immanent Anti-humanism. Political Islam is the only force (after far-left lost) who will be fighting against tyranny until the eschatological end of this reality. Political Islam's main agenda: to defeat world order, to limit its tyranny until the end of this reality. Not to become new world order, but to defeat it. Alternative world gov. here is a tool that can help to defeat world order. In a nutshell, Mooji and Spira don't give shit about your ethical fate, but Political Islam does. Because Mooji and Spira represent interests of Devil and elites, while Political Islam represents interests of disadvantaged.
  8. You're definitely missing the point then. His newer videos are the exact opposite of what you're saying, he's reached full circle and now combines enlightenment, nonduality and spirituality with exactly culture, religion and science. His latest video is literally about how to replicate yourself as an organism through culture on both an intellectual and emotional level. He mixes biology with cultural zeitgeist. Not to sound condescending but your opinion is entirely valid but proves you have not integrated the content. He's teaching you to see and connect various disciplines that have nothing to do with eachother. It's much more profound and advanced than anything he put out in previous years. All that being said, I agree with the brosky that said more girl cumming videos ?. I think Leo is not particularly interested in relationships and sex but it's my domain of fascination. I'd be very curious on videos on advanced relationships/sex, specifically on achieving nondual states while fucking and what a yellow level relationship based on raw sexual polarity would look like.
  9. The author makes some common points about "truth". In particular that some teachers claim they know truth and think they know it all. This gets into nuances with relative and absolute truths. Depending on context, sometimes it is helpful to highlight the relativity of what is being taught - other times, it is best to teach it *as if* it were actually true. For example, when I teach genetics I often say at the start of the course that the science of genetics is one relative perspective that creates physical maps. These physical maps can be integrated with other maps, including metaphyscial maps - and that the maps are not the territory. . . Then I teach the course as if the material was based on objective reality. If I kept entering relative or nondual dimensions it would create a groundless mess. "OK, here is the structure of DNA - yet it is only a map of something that doesn't really exist. Well, it exists from one perspective, yet not from another. We create existence and are just portraying everything we experience. Everything about chromosomal structure is both true and false. In a way, I don't know anything and everything I teach you is a lie.". This might be ok in a course on the existentialism of science, yet it would be terrible in a scientific course on genetics. It's best to teach it like "This is how it is.". Teaching with confidence, clarity and groundedness is really important at times. . . Other times, I throw in some relativism, nonduality and metaphysics - yet I do so sparingly. There is an energetic difference between a teacher that teaches as if it is true, vs. a teacher that believes it is true and is attached / identified to a story of truth. A teacher that holds ideas loosely without attachment/identification has much more expansion potential. I could teach a class on genetics as if it is fact to give a sense of grounding for the students to stand on. If a student came to me asking metaphysical questions about evolution, I could drop the physical story of genetics and go into a nonphysical realm and talk about energetics, Reiki, karma, past lives etc. Or we could integrate science and metaphysics. On a metaphysical level, there is also a "knowing" that comes prior to physical evidence. For example, through direct experience, you "know" now is now. You don't need any evidence to confirm to you that now is not yesterday or tomorrow. This can come across as being arrogant and closed-minded to others that have not had the direct experience and realization.
  10. @Bill W Have you ever heard Leo talking about [or contemplated yourself about] why good and evil seemingly exist? Heres a few juicy insights from Christian mysticism. I think in this video he talks about why this is the case. And as it turns out "good" and "evil" only exist while you exist. Which, to anyone not studying nonduality, sounds random and abstract. But as I'm sure your aware you can stop existing after a while of consciousness work. Check this out. In Genesis 2:9 (NLT) the Bible says "The Lord God made all sorts of trees grow up from the ground—trees that were beautiful and that produced delicious fruit. In the middle of the garden he placed the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil." This being the tree that Adam and Eve supposedly ate from to get kicked out of heaven and removed from God's direct presence. Have you ever heard of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? And the other, tree of life. Very cool parallel here. In Genesis, Adam and Eve eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil is a representation of when humans became conscious of their own existence and when they assumed that they were individual entities separate from reality. The kryia yoga book also mentions more biblical parallels, another one is the word "amen" or "om" to hindus or "ong" to other spiritual groups. The vibration of existence. And of course many God's are displayed as triune entities, pointing to different expressions of consciousness: god the son (physical) god the father and god the holy ghost. You'd also like what's known as the "baptism of the holy ghost, and of fire" representing God's presence baptising you (filling you completely). Powerful accuracy. I was actually shocked to discover how accurate the parallels from scripture actually are.
  11. Important Note: I'm not claiming any of the following is true. It might all be false. The following material requires extreme openmindedness and nuanced discernment, which many people reading this may not have. So don't blame me for bringing you something "crazy". That said, if you really want to strain your brain, read the following book (available here for free as PDF). This gives you a little taste of the periphery of spiritually and how much stuff you still need to explain in your worldview aside from nonduality. Again, my purpose here is to encourage radical openmindedness, big-picture thinking, and research. Not to convince you of any particular point of view. Nor do I claim that I believe all of it. Think of this more as an exercise in radically new ways of seeing the world. The reason I post this, is because I see people getting cocky about how much they think they understand reality. And I want you to be open to the possibility that there's a lot you don't understand. I of course include myself in this. And I want you to see the lengths I go to to keep my mind open, yet still rational and common-sensical. To me, openmindedness is no mere platitude, but an active, alive, everyday way of life. I recommend you start reading from page 69. And challenge yourself to finish at least all of Book I. Enjoy! And don't get lost down the rabbit hole
  12. The whole Pink Floyd and interconnectedness between thought and no thought is very interesting. I hadn’t “thought” about it like that before However I’m still struggling with breaking the whole sense of separation thing. It seems so obvious that I’m separate from the objects I experience. I’ve had mystical experiences that reviewed to me the interconnectedness of everything and I can logically think about oneness and nonduality all day long... but it just doesn’t make sense in my normal state of consciousness. I still can’t embody it. How do I break free of this “illusionary” sense of separation?
  13. @Serotoninluv ...and that is why you do not understand nonduality.
  14. @Serotoninluv , you are probably familiar with the snake and rope analogy. Either the rope is clearly seen to be a rope (and so no fear, confusion, and suffering)...or the illusion of there being a snake is still believed and there is fear, confusion, and suffering. Either enlightenment has happened or enlightenment has not happened yet. You do realize that enlightenment refers to a happening to a specific body/mind. It is like being in an orchard and saying an apple fell from a tree, but other apples have not fallen yet. However, this does not mean there is true "otherness" or separation...it is all still Nonduality or One. It is possible to describe characteristics of variation within a whole. You could be in the ocean and feel warm spots and cold spots...but it is all still ocean.
  15. "How Do You Feel About Death" @Raptorsin7 , there is no such thing as death. To believe in death is to be fixated on, identified with, and attached to form. I created a short video a while ago about "Nonduality and death. What is death for a jnani?" - https://youtu.be/MNb4qijqHJE
  16. I have noticed that all spiritual teachings have something false in them! Even ACIM which bashes the ego. The truth is bigger than that and the ego serves a useful and valuable purpose, even though it needs to be transcended. Another example is neti neti "not this, not this" which is false since it teaches duality instead of nonduality. To say "NOT this" about anything is duality. And on and on, all spiritual and religions have some false teachings. Why is that? It's because all spiritual teachings and religions are a product of the global ego which is built on deception.
  17. The major religions are still way more popular than pure nonduality teachings. I think it's because nonduality can seem pretty bleak and nihilistic. And religions such as Christianity and Islam promise goodies in heaven. In nonduality there are no obvious huge ego benefits. And the major religions may have a point! So it can be useful to combine for example ACIM with the Law of One to include huge benefits in the form of higher densities. Personally I still don't know if the Law of One contains truth, but I believe it does. That produces a confusion in me but a good one since it makes me think of nonduality from an integral perspective that actually is the same as for example Christianity, such as the first heaven means fourth density.
  18. J. Krishnamurti talked about choiceless awareness. He also said that choice is confusion. That sounds like the Law of Confusion in the Law of One. And ACIM says that the ego is deluded by believing it can do anything outside of God's will. Eckhart Tolle said that the ego is a necessary stage of development for humanity that we need to evolve beyond. I think we as egos can still do something about our own situation, which is to take the nonduality teachings as a hypothesis and then examine in our daily life if it is a valid hypothesis. Is reality unfolding as a whole or do we as individual persons have our own separate wills? Our immediate experience tells us that, yes we do have free will! But the idea here is that the ego consciousness is only a temporary stage needed for growth and development up to a point, and then we need to evolve beyond that. And according to the nonduality hypothesis, from that higher perspective it's actually realized that no, we do not have free will, and that it leads to liberation instead of being a limitation as the ego believes.
  19. Nonduality teacher Jim Newman This video mimicked almost identically my own experience...❤
  20. I was thinking about changing my profile name from VeganAwake to Duality Police I wanted to see what you guys thought first before making any super important complex choices. I was even thinking that maybe Leo would be willing to pay me a little bit for my services... maybe just a hundred bucks a month... My main job would be to infiltrate dualistic conversational threads posing to be nonduality topics and straighten them away as quick as possible. The other profile name I was thinking was MillennialParadigmShatterer or MPS for short.. What do you guys think?
  21. Lol I'm not sure if what you said made any sense. If there truly isint a separate individual but just someone believing they are seperate, that doesn't actually create duality. The duality is just a figment of their imagination, they weren't actually ever separate. Hence why Duality is actually an illusion. It's hard to truly understand nonduality when the illusion hasn't been clearly seen through.
  22. LSD may be a good tool for this, depending on how you resonate with it. For many, myself included, LSD can help dissolve the personal story and allow a new relationship with Here and Now to be revealed. It can increase one’s resonance and conscious level, allowing for realizations. Yet there are many variables, including karmic load. What worked for me, might not work for you. What I did was dedicate a certain amount of time each day to be Here and Now. I told my mind that 85% of my day could be past and future thinking, yet for this one hour a day, it was for Here and Now. I would spend time doing yoga, listening to a nonduality speaker, gardening, meditating, time in nature, cooking, self massage etc. I also dedicated a week to a solo retreat in which 90% if each day was dedicated to Here and Now. At the time, I already had many realizations and had previously worked through a lot of karmic conditioning - years of meditation, therapy, dozens of psychedelic trips etc. . Yet I had “lost it” and regressed. So I had a knowing of what it was like. The initial breakthroughs may need an extra boost. For a newbie with a lot of karmic conditioning, LSD could reveal the magnificence of Here and Now, or a new realm, or it may reveal stuff that needs to be worked through and purified.
  23. I think of the Holy Instant in ACIM as a correction of our perception of reality. When we watch a sunset it looks like the sun i moving down behind the horizon. What actually happens in a sunset is that earth's rotation gives the impression of the sun moving down. An even better comparison is how some centuries ago people believed the sun moved around earth. And even the mainstream scientists in those days had that belief and they constructed ever more complicated epicycle theories in order to try to fit their preconceived notion into observed reality. The Holy Instant IMO shows us that all the past is now and only now. The past is real. The past in unchangeable. The past is indestructible. The past is timeless information in the present moment. So for example your breakfast yesterday you did eat it but you ate it now and only now. So the Holy Instant to me means a subtle yet profound shift in how we experience reality. This is also consistent with nonduality since there all the past is always One with the now.
  24. One of the grandfathers of nonduality killed himself when the suffering got deep enough. He´s beliefs literally flew out of the window when he was really suffering.
  25. I think the danger is a manifestation of repressed "stuff" in each of us that surface the further we progress. Shadow work basically. I think a mistake we make is we jump in to things too soon and we aren't ready for it. Some people are trying to fill holes or escape and they happen upon spiritual things, but they don't go step by step and they go without guidance. Leo's channel has a "foundations for self-actualization" playlist but will you go through that? Or just jump into his latest post? To use a biblical analogy, you need to first desire milk if you are new to spiritual things. You are still a baby. But, "solid food belongs to those who are of full age, who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil." (Hebrews 5:14). Another example, one danger I see often here is people talking about being God. It's too soon for a lot of people to speak this way, and it stinks of ego. You must have a relationship with the divine as being something you desire, from there, you must work on dying. When your ego is gone you will join with the All, and not anytime before that. Saying you're God or believing you're God might be the thing that ruins you and probably is... (Leo has quite a popular YouTube channel and this forum is quite busy, but don't forget that it is always only a few who come to know and to see...) Talking about you're God yet you've just begun realising there's more to life than the physical? You're vulnerable like that. Demons will bully you... The truth is the same whether you're beginning or experienced, but some things belong to the experienced and some things belong to the beginner. Some of you need to join a religion and do your shadow work in a community of faith within an organised environment. We are not all mystics and yet nonduality is a mystical teaching. The greatest teachers spoke in mysteries specifically to hide the truth from those who are not at all prepared for them. We need to measure our capacities and not alone. Even people who aren't spiritual are very important to us; they're full of ego which is great, if our heads are in the clouds because of enlightenment.
